This is a tough review to write, because my wife and I have shopped at T&C for many years. But…read morefacts are facts, and rotten customer service is rotten customer service, no matter how you cut it. So, for what it's worth, here goes. On Friday or Saturday, April 12 or 13, 2024, I visited T&C to purchase a large (2 lb) container of chicken salad. I've lost count long ago of the number of times that my wife and I have purchased this product, which, in our opinion, is the best chicken salad to be found in the area. T&C's chicken salad isn't cheap (it was more than $25 for the 2 lb container), but we've always thought that it was worth it. This time, however, something was a bit off with the salad. When my wife opened it the following day to make a sandwich, the salad just didn't smell quite right, and the taste matched--something was a bit off. That's never happened before, but rather than risk an infection by a food-borne pathogen, we chose not to consume any more but rather to return the product for a replacement. That happened today (April 17), or at least I tried to make that happen. Instead, I was met with a rude, utterly unaccommodating individual behind the checkout counter (I don't know whether she was a manager or owner), who abruptly told me that the chicken salad couldn't be returned because it was perishable; that she was unwilling to give any refund to me for the product (I never asked for a refund; I merely wanted a replacement but I could hardly get that out before she stridently jumped in); and that, for my trouble, she'd offer to make a sandwich for me. She further said that the store has this "policy" (the best that I can discern, the "policy" is not to stand behind what they sell), because they have no way of knowing how a food product like this was handled or stored when it left T&C. Fair enough, I told her, but, in my case, I purchased the chicken salad, drove straight home to Oxford (about a 13 minute drive), and placed the container in our refrigerator (which is set to 37 degrees, per the manufacturer's recommendation). The T&C employee/owner replied that "of course, everyone says that," to which I asked whether she was implying that I was lying to her. The interaction went downhill from there, although it's hard to fall from the floor. If this had been a bag of chips or some other, inexpensive product, I wouldn't have bothered. But T&C's large container of chicken salad is north of $25. The right thing to do would have been to take the product back and provide a replacement, which is all that I wanted. This individual, however, thought that the better course was to act rudely, implicitly accuse me of lying, and then, in essence, to tell me to pound sand because this was a "perishable" product. Of course, it's perishable. But that doesn't mean that it can be sold in a state that is or may well be spoiled. Moreover, I wasn't asking T&C to put the product back in the deli for further sale; I was merely asking for a replacement. As I said, we've shopped at T&C for years. Today, they lost a long-standing customer and every ounce of goodwill that they had developed over those years. For the rest of you, buyer beware. T&C doesn't stand by its food products.

Highly recommend calling to check their daily hours and that they business update them.

They don't have a huge selection of American Craft beers or Belgian or German beers, however. But that may not be their market here in Delaware. I was able to get some Dogfish Head, because that's kind of close and they had decent prices on Guiness. A broader selection of American Craft beers would bump this up to a four star review, but it's still a nice place and worth stopping as you're driving down the Delmarva.

This is MY KIND OF PLACE!…read more Hubby was bored at Martinak and said *Let's go for a ride!*. I didn't want to let him down. So it just started out riding through the small areas of the Eastern Shore and a gas run. He asked me if I wanted to go get a coffee....I said no, let's find a pub or brewery. I consulted with my phone like all of us do these days and found 4 Dogs. Waze kind of messed us up, but it actually worked out because in our being turned around for a few minutes, we found another place that we will be returning to before the summer season starts to try out and I will review on that at some point. We pulled up to this very pleasant looking building with some dogs painted on it. We walked in and it was just this nice place with pool tables, some tables to sit at and of course a bar. We selected to sit at the bar. We were served by Chris who was just fantastic and makes a great orange crush. The vibe is just so nice in the pub, just the way I like it. You can hear yourself think, you can talk to your partner without screaming, yet there is music playing and laughter....it's just a nice friendly place. We ordered a Hot Honey Old Bay order of wings as we were going back to our campsite to have dinner. Would for sure order these again. They were meaty, and the sauce was sticking to the wing, not laying all over the basket. Very impressed with the taste. We thought the drinks were a great price, but then living in the Baltimore area, we get hammered on price here when we go out, which is why more often than not, hubby makes our drinks at home these days.....but this is a nice little place in the town of Easton which looks like it has a bunch of hidden little gems and we are going to take another trip down soon! Visited this liquor,beer and wine store for a quick pick up on my trip to MD. Loved the selection…read morethey had with amazing prices! The owner even offered to buy specific whiskey i was looking to buy. They even had cigars which I was able to buy for my father in law. Amazing staff, well stocked alcohol and overall great experience. Will definitely recommend,especially since the owner will order whatever it is you're looking for, which in my head equals great customer service and 5 stars.

Came to this location today which for me was super convenient being that it's in a mini mall next…read moreto many other stores. The store itself is very clean and nice. As you go further in the back it gets more spacious. Since I am from nyc and this is a small town some items were expensive and some were really a good price. They have a large wine selection & I was able to find a decent rosè at a decent price. There is one cashier and she was kind and efficient. She worked fast They also have a free chilling service box which was cool I had to try it. So basically it chills your drink the longer you leave your bottle in the cooler your drink gets! Anyhow if you are in the area stop in they have way more then just liquor, they have beer, wine, popsicles and much more for a local small town store its cool!

When the order arrived it was only one taco with a few pieces of steak meat, goat cheese and chimichurri... but for $17 not worth the cost considering that the steak was tough and dry like jerky beef...overall an overpriced pretentious creation!
