If I could leave negative stars I would. Cynthia is truly one of the most unprofessional people in the industry. Her contracts only protect her and not you (even though she made a point to tell me otherwise multiple times on the phone when she failed to show up). She failed to change the date on my contract thus not showing up on the date even though in February she had acknowledged the set up dates. Day of my wedding my mother spoke with her to try to get any leadership to still try to make my day come together and my mom ended having to comfort HER as she cried on the phone. Now she doesn't event have the decency or respect to email me back as she has not followed through with HER contract. Please dont make the same mistake I did by trusting her with my day, if something happens she only looks out for herself and doesn't care about the bride. read more

I hired Cynthia to provide rental furniture for a corporate event and she was wonderful. Very responsive and prompt which is rare in a post-covid world. The day of the event, she was again prompt and very helpful and had great ideas about how to use the furniture when we had to move the event indoors due to inclement weather. Cynthia was delightful to work with-- she always listened to what we hoped for and then made gentle suggestions to make it even better! She was always very respectful of other vendors and kept our wishes in mind. She is the only wedding planner you need! Unfortunately, we had already hired a "day of" wedding planner before we found Vintage Love. We would have been better off without the expensive wedding planner! Cynthia always gave better, more thoughtful and creative ideas but she sometimes deferred to the wedding planner when she did not want to cause problems on wedding day. I've followed them on Facebook for some time and I was always blown away by all the gorgeous furniture they had. Now that I'm engaged, I was so excited to contact them about renting a vintage love seat for a couple hours for engagement photos. Cynthia responded with a quick decline saying that they were heavily booked that day and couldn't take on anymore clients. I'm having a hard time understanding why it's not possible for me to pick up a single piece of furniture, (which they clearly are NOT short on) take some photos, and return it a few hours later. It seems like you have to contract with them to coordinate your entire event even though they advertise that they rent out single items as needed. I'm pretty disheartened as I was really looking forward to using them now that I'm engaged, but if that's the type of attitude they have, then so be it. read more

Much time was spent on proposal, beautifully detailing what to expect. Sadly, the planner could not deliver what was promised. It's easy to talk about how wonderful & perfect everything will be, but can your planner actually execute all of these details? As weekend unfolded, it became clear that things were not going as planned. It also became apparent that the planner's cheery personality was unraveling. Lack of organization & time management skills were evident. She was rude to guests & failed to execute many detailed items in the final proposal. She was not available to wedding party on day of wedding & wedding & did not want to be interrupted during decorating process (even by the people paying her for her services). Definite red flag here. Flowers in crystal bowls on vintage stands were to line the wedding aisle. Nothing lined the aisle. Seating Chart nightmare because planner failed to use the final seating chart. Several guests left without seats including Groom's parents. Many more issues, but can't include due to space restrictions Make sure your planner knows early on that you will be assigning a friend or family member to be present at the venue(s) while they are setting up. Bring the contract & check off each detail upon completion. If planner balks at this or hesitates in any way, this is NOT the planner you want to work with. read more
