I've been inside lots of shops that call themselves antique stores, but this one is legit. Before…read moreyou even walk in the front door, you see a collection of treasures at the entrance and you know you're about to embark on a journey. Floor to ceiling shelves, stuffed-and I mean stuffed-full of inventory. Clothing, dishes, trinkets, toys, hardware, art, you name it, they've got it. There's a certain "smell" in the place that even lends the it's authenticity. It's a cross between the basement in grandma's house and the old shed out back. Sadly, when I visited, I didn't get there early enough to properly browse through all the goodies, but I got a good enough glimpse to tell me that I want to go back. One item of note, that I'm not sure how to feel about...there was a collection of hat pins, one with a swastikas design. I understand that it is history, and technically an antique, but it did make me feel a little icky. Overall though, there are some amazing things in this shop and you could get lost for hours in here just looking through everything.

You can breathe now. While not as well located on Main Street, I actually like the new store better. Cleaner, more spread out, all with that great service. One of their specialties are books ... many classics and, although not my cup of tea, plenty of Mormon/LDS from past and present. The prices are superb. I got a booklet with approximately 100 1910-1930 postcards for $14.99. Still going strong!
