Moved into our brand new condo at MYC toronto What a…read morehorrible mess. The whole condo itself is a wreck. They are under code for elevators only have two elevators for 28 floors and they are constantly on repair or ppl are moving in and have it on service average wait time is 5 to 10 minutes. Our balcony was a totally shit job. They didn't even bother to buffer the surface to make it smooth, there's copper wire sticking out, plaster chunks all over it and the edges are all cracked. They didn't even bother to seal it so it's starting to crack already and this is a new building. We were the first owners in the unit. The customer care ppl weren't that helpful with anything. They had the worst handyman in there fixing fuck ups from the contractor who built the place. We had a water damage on the ceiling, clearly something was leaking.. did they bother to check the unit upstairs for leaks nope... 6 months down the road it got worst and then they thought they should check the unit upstairs and found that the toilet has been slowly leaking this whole time. Overall the whole development of this building is poorly constructed. I recommend NOT MOVING TO MYC. Or any other building that they have built.

We rescheduled for the next day. I took another day off of work for this. He didn't show up, pick up any of my calls or respond to my messages the next day. I would think twice about hiring him as a contractor, it is very unprofessional, especially because he knew I had to take an additional day off of work.
