Just a few word that pop into my head when I think about this place. Su is a darling collector with great taste and this shop is her treasure box! Everywhere you look is something sparkly and unique. I could spend hours in this store rummaging in the corners, going through boxes, and discovering badass treasure all day! It's a one-of-a-kind shop that seems out of place in such a small Alaskan town. It's like something I would find in San Francisco. GOTTA CHECK THIS SHOP OUT!

I hired Angela and her husband to provide their DJ services at my wedding. While we were planning,…read moreshe was very difficult to get ahold of. Thankfully my photographer knew her and was able to text her to get her to answer me, but it took a while for several different incidents. The last time I couldn't get a hold of her was during my final week countdown I didn't need the added stress. Online they provide you with a cool way to have guests add songs they want to hear and for the bride and groom to enter information about the wedding party. I filled it all out very neatly and she called me the night before the rehearsal dinner to go over it. Everything was set. They came to set up the rehearsal dinner night which was nice. But they didn't try to introduce themselves--I had to go and find them. The day of the wedding everything was prepared. I had planned on having the bridal party walk to Somewhere We Only Know by Vitamin String Quartet, I would walk to Bittersweet Symphony by Vitamin String Quartet and our recessional song was to be the actual version of Somewhere Only We Know by Keane. Bridal walk went great. However when everyone stood for my entrance, the wrong song was playing. The song by Keane (with words, not instrumental) was playing. This wouldn't be a big deal if I hadn't been dreaming to walk to Bittersweet Symphony my entire life. Then, at our reception, they played maybe 5 songs we had asked for. They didn't even have half of them but never let us know they wouldn't have them available prior to the reception. We found out then. When it was time to eat, the DJ had the parents and grandparents eat first. Who was getting married? Not them. Me. I get it, elders first, but at my wedding I expected to be fed before everyone else. Overall, decent price but not the best quality. They were good at keeping people entertained but the music sucked.
