Don't get me wrong - this is kind of one of those areas where everything is a little bit of a tourist trap and as a tourist, you just kind of have to go with it. They have lots of very beautifully arranged bins of sweets - lots of gunny type things and some chocolate. You're offered a bag and everything is the same price, priced by weight. The men in the store were pleasant but also a tiny bit pushy. Here, have a bag, please come in, here, have a bag. But they do know what they are doing. The candy was good - fine and tasty and sugary. But we did feel like we paid a lot of money for what we got - especially when compared to stands that sell a similar assortment of goodies in other European countries we've visited. So I guess I'd say if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth it's a fine stop. But try to show some restraint otherwise you'll have a nasty surprise at the register!

The prices at V!va were expensive even for Austrian/French standards. The chocolate isn't originally Czech, its Belgian. This had to be the worst chocolate I have ever had. It was honestly really cool and really made me nostalgic for my childhood. So this is like FAO Schwartz in the modern day. There are lots of big kind of "selfie moment" things throughout the store, and I will admit... I took a bunch of fun selfies! They are very inviting! The place was mobbed of course but I saw a decent number of staff people around to help, and I appreciated there was even a little cafe for weary parents to rest and have a place to park.
