BAD GROOMER: After getting my dog groomed here several times, the groomer then called to say that…read moremy dog bit her and I had to medicate the dog next time. I medicated the next time and the groomer canceled last minute while I was on the way. My dog has been groomed by several other groomers since and they all had a great experience with my dog. Clearly the groomer was rushing and did not make my dog feel comfortable. I will not have her groomed here again. BOARDING: When the women came out to get my dog during drop off, my dog was anxious and did not want to go inside with them--big red flag. I always chose the In-home Stay boarding service since my dog has separation anxiety. For a recent out of town trip, I booked that service as usual. K9 made no attempt to tell me that the In-Home Stay was not available due to renovations and I was not informed until I arrived that morning. I called to get an update on my dog later that day and I was told she was very uncomfortable and scared. The next day I called all day long and NO ONE picked up the phone. I also left voicemails that were not returned. The next day, I got an update that my dog was doing great but I didn't believe that. I will never board her again after this experience. I have not tried the daycare.

One of my dogs has very bad anxiety, like he will pee or poop when someone else is picking him up other than our family members. He hates when others try to get too close to him, he hates nail/face trimming, i mean I love my dog but he is very high maintenance. We've been denied by other groomer before in the past because of him and I am always nit picky about finding the right person for him. Well Carri was our groomer and she did such an amazing job on my anxious dog and my other hyper-so energetic dog! she told me how they did during their grooming session and they both looked so sharp, cute and they also smelled so good! I was beyond happy, satisfied with everything and I was also amazed by how fast she groomed both of my dogs. Their shop is pretty spacious and open too, I like that they don't "cage" the dogs like other chain stores. They have rooms where dogs can stay in their room while their mom/dads come pick them up but they are not caged, they are just in their room with the gate which I love. I was never a fan of stores/shops where they cage the dogs so this was another huge plus for me too. I witnessed a dog on a short leash that jumped on the bench and had no way to get back down. My dog was perfectly fine when I took him in and now he is in extreme pain. Vet thinks they dropped him or mishandled him. All his assistant could say is that my dog peed a lot and he may have a UTI. BS! The first time I went in there my dog was tied up and his legs were wrapped around the leash. I got upset about it and begged them to make sure not to let that happen again. Safety of the animals is not their best interest.
