However the value does not add up. They did initially indicate that the acid wash would be done without draining the pool. Although that was a red flag, I decided to give a try since they guaranteed at least eighty percent of the spots to be removed. However, even the dirt from the pool floor wasn't removed, which makes me question whether it was properly vacuumed. That was discussed prior to the start of work, and I was assured this would be completely taken care of. Brittany is super nice, however I found the labor insufficient unfortunately. My advice is to please go with a different company to avoid the negative experience.

The owner, Jason, was extremely disrespectful and dismissive throughout the entire situation. Looking back, I should have trusted the negative reviews I saw before booking with them instead of brushing them off. One of their pool technicians came out on Monday to inspect our filter. According to Jason, the filter was inspected but not cleaned or serviced. He also stated that at the time of inspection, there were no signs of leaking or damage after the technician left. The very next day, we noticed a leak coming from the filter area. When we contacted Jason about it, instead of taking any accountability or even considering that something may have happened during the visit, he immediately claimed the unit was "old and broken" and needed to be completely replaced for $1,700. How does that make any sense? One day the filter supposedly shows no signs of leaking or damage, and immediately after their technician visits, it suddenly becomes "broken" and needs a costly replacement? Jason completely disregarded the obvious concern that something may have happened during or after the inspection. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect from the owner alone is enough for me to never use this company again. I would strongly recommend others do their research and proceed with caution before hiring Blissful Waters Pool Company.

Jason and James are professional, on-time, and communicative. For the first time in my time in Orlando, I don't have any pool worries! Pricing is quite reasonable for the services provided, but Blissful Waters goes beyond providing the service requested and makes excellent suggestions to improve how my pool is maintained. Living in such a hot climate, I am well familiar with the weekly need to add water to our pool. Even before I had engaged Blissful Waters, Jason suggested that I get a hose bib timer so that his team can take care of adding water each week. I did not know that hose bib timers existed or that they were so affordable. Adding water to my pool is one less thing I need to remember to do, because Blissful Waters takes care of it for me. Each week, I receive via email an excellent summary of the services performed, including a photo of the pool. If I have questions, Jason is just a text away. Quite simply, I am thrilled with the service that Blissful Waters Pool Care provides!

However there was some follow-up that needed to be done, they came out a few times for repairs that I had a warranty on but never really solved the issue! I tried calling, texting, leaving VM, Nada!!!! That's when I decided to check on Yelp again and give it one more try! I came across Pool Sharks pool service. Called Andy up, he responded very quickly via VM. When we finally were able to speak, Andy came over the same day we spoke, probably within minutes, as he was already in my area. Charged me the service call fee, which was very reasonable. The last company had a difficult time getting my vacuum to clean the pool, there was no flow going through my salt cell, it was a mess. Pool starting to turn green pretty quickly! Andy came over, took the motor apart, started cleaning the motor, discovered that leaves were getting in the propeller, or something like that? Taught me how to put the basket back in so that it doesn't happen again! Made it easier for me to take the Filter cap off so that I'm not spending 10's of minutes trying to put the cap back on, which can take up to an hour trying to align the steel rod back into its groove!! If anything, just that one little trick was worth the service fee!! He really went above and beyond!! Needless to say, I will be using Andy for all my pool service needs!! If you're looking for a pool service company to solve your pool needs and problems, DON'T contact…read morePooltek Pool Services, unless you're ok paying up front for an assessment with no solution. The first red flag should have been that they required a $95 payment before even scheduling a tech to come out. And even after making the online payment, I had to reach out to them to confirm receipt and prod them to send out a technician. In short, my pool pump stopped drawing water effectively. I was stumped after checking the PCV joints, O-rings, the impeller, and having backwashed my line. The first tech spent all but 12-15 minutes on site to say he didn't know what was wrong but suspected a clog in the line. He said he didn't have the equipment on hand (the equipment being a $12 bladder kit I picked up at Ace Hardware later that same day -- something any pool tech should carry with them). After I tested the line for a clog with the bladder kit, water appeared to be flowing just fine. After several unanswered phone calls to PoolTek, I requested another tech come out. I told a man named Robert (presumably a manager I can't recall, that I had never had a pool repair company come out to my place and not leave with a fix or a solution. A second tech came out and after about 25-30 minutes, he also concluded there was a clog. So, that's when I contacted Dr. Pool Leak Detection to have them pressure-test the line for a clog/ leak ($300 more dollars out of pocket). While I thought it a bit pricey, the tech who came out was very thorough and gave me the results I expected -- NO leak and NO clog. He also pointed out a steady drip of water from under the pump, which I overlooked beforehand. I decided to purchase a pool pump seal repair kit for about $35 and disassembled the pump. Sure enough, I saw worn and broken seals/gaskets. I replaced them, reassembled the pump, and am happy to report it's working perfectly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING POOLTEK POOL SERVICES - unless you like throwing away money and being gaslit.
