The attention to detail with his situation was well above any expectation I could have asked for. He is only 62, but with his fully fused back, everything is challenging. The appointment was timely, he was helped in and out of the facility care rooms as they checked his sight. The doctor ordered the glasses he needs for reading up close, with plain glass above for regular sight. The staff kept him entertained as he waited for his facility bus to pick him up and return him to Windmill Manor. Thank you for the respect, the empathy and the professionalism you all showed. I chose Dr. Moreno mainly based on her appearance in a listing of 'green' businesses. On my first visit, just a regular cleaning and check-up, she said I had the beginnings of three cavities, and that they needed to be drilled and filled right away before they'd get bigger. My insurance wouldn't allow me to get a second opinion until six months had passed. I'd never had a cavity before. But I was young and didn't know what to do. I trusted her and took the fillings. Six months later, my second check-up with her, she said she saw the beginnings of a fourth cavity. I was suspicious, and paid for a second opinion. My second opinion disagreed that a filling was in order, and I've never needed one since. Now I have three possibly unnecessary fillings in my mouth. Years later, I can still feel them and taste them. She told me they'd need to be replaced periodically, too.
