I liked how they had a sports room and a quiet room on top of the general seating.

There is a sports viewing room, a quiet room and the main area. This lounge provides WiFi access to its paying guests. The reason I gave 3 stars is the view, the decor and because I had a place to sit (although it was so full there were no more spaces available!)...if the place was more looked after and food quality was even slightly better I would have re-considered my scoring. We were flying business class and were able to use our tickets to enter the lounge. Breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs over easy eggs breakfast links bacon hard boiled eggs potato crust tomatoes sliced fruit croissants pastries various processed lunch meats including sliced ham pastrami and sliced beef. Also mushrooms and tomatoes. Orange juice and other fruit juices available. This is a very large lounge able to accommodate several hundred passengers. Besides restrooms there are showers available. The breakfast buffet was identical to the breakfast buffet at our Hilton West end hotel leading me to believe they have the same caterers.

The spa gives some complimentary services but you can pay for longer services. It's table service so you choose a place to sit and they come to you to take your order. The menu is extensive. This is the first time I also tried a cocktail with Seedlip, the non-alcoholic cocktail mix, and I didn't dislike it. The staff are so friendly and helpful at this spacious lounge too. Their cheerfulness is impressive. I can't figure out the sink in the bathroom. The bathrooms are individual rooms with their own sink. The soap products smell so great. The sink is very shallow and I found it challenging to keep the water in it. Everything else is almost perfect.

First impressions were of a traditional British pub experience, which was a good start. Our clumsiness of grabbing a table and figuring out whether we needed to go to the bar to order or wait to be served, surely gave us away as "not locals." Our server was friendly and provided us with our menus and took our drinks order. The one shortfall was that the menu had a number of items not available and with an assist from a customer, two of us needed a rethink on their meal. In all, it was 4 Fish & Chips, One Farmhouse Burger, and a Battered Halloumi burger, plus an order of calamari, and 4 tomato and garlic soups. There were zero plates taken off the table that were not empty! I had the Halloumi burger, which had a great, crispy batter topped with some guacamole mayo with a red sauce on the side. Really good. Then we doubled down and hit the dessert menu! Two warm chocolate brownies with salted caramel ice cream and four plum tarts. We asked for some custard on the side because who doesn't like custard?! Save for the debate about whether it was more a pie than a tart, another set of empty plates were the only evidence left. Would definitely recommend The Farmhouse!
