My husband (who practiced law until he retired) and I finally found our law firm and lawyers we felt would represent us in every way we needed. They instructed us through the process. Every question and concern we had was met with clear and helpful responses. They guided us through what we needed to know about creating a Trust, what we needed to consider about our estate, discussed our future and our family needs. We learned to follow and trust their suggestions. We hired them. There was an agreed upon cost and it was clear what we would receive in return. We occasionally have questions regarding how to handle certain things, we always receiving a response to our emails. Most recently we were considering hiring a financial adviser firm which we didn't feel quite comfortable about using. We received information that gave us options to consider.
