After getting my first real job and getting the benefits and funds to (finally) take care of myself. The one thing I wanted to get done ASAP was removing my wisdom teeth. All 4 of mine had grown in, luckily straight up, and didn't cause me to get them out sooner than expected. I was referred to this location and from what I remember, was an easy process. I made the appointment, went to it and told them what I wanted. They gave me the process/plan/billing of what it would be to get that procedure done. I remember meeting Dr. Harris and just saying "Please get these extra teeth out of my mouth. I have too many and I want them out!" haha. The front desk staffs were super friendly and helpful with any questions that I may have had. Day of surgery: My boyfriend (now hubby) was the driver who got me there and home after the surgery. When I got there, I signed my forms, and was brought to the back. They gave me some medicine that knocked me out and then woke me up when it was all over. I seriously thought it was maybe 30 mins or an hour. My husband still to this day told me that it was no more than 10-15 mins. He said he was just getting cozy on the waiting chair and just got mid-page of an article until they call him back to come "Pick me up". I "supposedly" kept telling the staff and Dr. Harris "Thank you" while they were doing the finishing process and got me into the car. No more than the weekend, my mouth healed great. It was so crazy feeling those crazy holes of the missing teeth in my mouth. At the follow up, Dr. Harris checked my mouth/gums...everything looked good. I couldn't help but ask if I could give him a hug. He really helped me out with the removal of my wisdom teeth and I highly recommend him to those who wish to get their wisdom teeth out! I can't say he gets better over time... he was and is the best from the first time. He is consistent, he is on it the guy knows what he is doing. I don't wanna go but I know I have to keep all of my teeth and he will do his best to ensure I do. He is with you during the procedure, by that I mean he is doing the work but he feels you every step of the way and will take his time to make sure you feel no pain or the very least as is possible. The office is spotless and well decorated in a beachy atmosphere. So much awesome art...I take pictures and send then to my friends. Jeanette at the front desk is awesome and very helpful, The Assistants are PERFECT every time..TOP NOTCH the BEST. This was the best dental experience I've ever had. I had a previous dentist mess up a root canal…read moreand even left a piece of something on my tooth. Another dentist fixed it and referred me to Dr. Harris to get my root canal checked out because she said she's not a specialist. Well it's the first time I had ever heard of an Endondist, but kudos to her for knowing it's outside of her scope. Anyway, I had major tooth pain I thought was coming from the root canal. Dr. Harris realized that my previous dentist put a filling so close to the root that it should have just been a root canal. Debbie the dental hygienist was so nice and helpful. They used equipment I had never seen at my other dentist office to avoid saliva and bacteria from going into the tooth area while they worked on it. Dr. Harris thoroughly explained my x Ray's to give me an understanding of what was going on. He was so knowledgeable. I've never had a dentist take the time to explain. I'm literally in the parking lot writing this review because that's how good I felt about the experience. I highly recommend Dr. Harris. Do not let a regular dentist give you a root canal. Come here even if you have to drive out of the way like I had to. It's worth the trip to feel confident the job was done properly.

Today I did both at Tulips' Chesterfield office. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to bring my elderly mother to meet one of the periodontists, but didn't make it past the blonde receptionist that was full of attitude. Immediately upon giving my mother's name, she stated very rudely that they wouldn't be able to see her today, and that I would just have to take today's appointment time to complete her paperwork and schedule another appointment. After I made personal arrangements to travel in from out-of-town while quite sick myself to get my mother in from her nursing home for some complex dental care, and after taking time off from my 3 national businesses to get her there, and after calmly explaining to the receptionist that their website was down last night when I tried to pre-fill their patient paperwork (checked 4x last night), she proceeded to cop a disdainful attitude with, "Well, THAT's why we send you the links well in advance. YOU'LL just have to complete the paperwork now and come back ANOTHER time when WE can fit you in with an appointment." No apology for their website being down, no acknowledgement of the hassle we'd gone through to get my mom there. COULD. NOT. HAVE. CARED. LESS. Considering the procedure my mom would need to have would probably cover half or most of the receptionist's salary, I'm surprised that they have this person out front. The periodontists may be excellent - but we'll never know, because we'll be taking my mom's business elsewhere. God only knows how much business the person out front is costing them.
