Turned out my battery was swelling and upon further examination my hard drive cable was also damaged. He was very upfront and honest about his recommendation to discontinue the repair and let Ol' Bess finish out her days in peace. He got it to where the trackpad was temporarily functioning again (it was sticking due to the swelling battery) and even re-adhered the loose glass to my screen (a separate issue) I appreciate his candor as previously I'd been given the run around by the Apple Store. I was charged a very reasonable price considering Jon was able to get Ol' Bess working just enough for me to retrieve some documents off of her. I ended up ordering a new MacBook Pro and if anything is to go wrong with that one, I'll surely SKIP THE APPLE STORE and go straight to Friendly PC.

They evaluated their performance, accepted my criticism, and offered me a gift card to make up for the disappointment. They do seem to genuinely care that they give good service to their customers and try to compensate when they fall short.

Took an iPad with a loose charger port to a chain store for repair. Clerk barely looked at it and…read morestated the port needed to be soldered - stated it would have to be sent out for $150 with an estimated ready date of up to 2 weeks. This sounded absolutely ridiculous so I left. I took it to Fix Max at the Westroads. They had it 1 day at a repair charge of $90 and it works perfectly once again. These guys are amazing, professional, courteous and the repairs are done right in their shop! 5 stars!

We went again recently to get it fixed I asked if we could get a discount since it exploded before the man said no but he'd give a free screen protector and if it broke again he would fix it. I kept the receipt just in case. Once again while we were on vacation his phone just broke in his bag. Today they stopped by to get it fixed after it once again just exploded and the man refuses to fix it saying it's not broken on the the inside screen or something stupid and saying they dropped it when they did not. Heed my warning!! They say it takes 15 minutes to fix these phone and there is a reason for that! Shotty work!! Go to ifix Omaha or something instead!!
