My experience with Raul was very disappointing! From the start my mom was very hesitant and did not trust him because he was very unorganized and unfocused. We booked Raul a year before our wedding and met with him several times throughout that period of time. All of which he denied and claimed we never met with him to discuss the details of our wedding. During the meetings, I stressed the fact that I wanted Spring flowers with lots of color, for example oranges, pinks, etc. For my bridal bouquet I wanted it to be very bright and full of Spring flowers, I ended up with a white bouquet and purple accents. Besides the flower colors, my bouquet was falling apart before the ceremony began, my photographer had to continuously take him my bouquet to fix it and all Raul would do was shove the fallen flower back in another area of the bouquet. The rest of his services continued to be a disaster. He showed up to the venue a 1/2 hour early even though he was told he could not start until the designated time. He had kids helping him set everything up and ended up showing up to the church 10 minutes before the ceremony was to begin because he went to the wrong church. Guests were already being seated and he had not set a single floral arrangement up. Since he showed up late he did not arrange any of the arrangements in an orderly manner. Our entire bridal party had to assist him in taking the flowers off the trailer in order for the ceremony to start on time. The arrangements looked nothing like he had promised us. We paid for floral crowns and boutonniere for the groomsmen, ring bearers and fathers. He used big flowers instead of dainty ones for the flower girl floral crowns that fell apart while tying them onto the little girls heads. Our parents ended up with no corsages and boutonniere due to him making corsages that pinned on the dresses instead of being placed on the wrist which was originally discussed; and the boutonnieres the groomsmen received fell before pictures. Also, our cake lady ordered flowers from him to be placed on the cake, Raul gave her 3 white roses that were brown and wilted instead of the orange roses that she originally ordered. It is no surprise that all my vendors were disappointed with him because he did not follow through on anything. When my mom confronted him the day of the wedding he admitted that he picked a bad batch of flowers and could not use the majority of what he bought. He never once called to communicate this problem with us and figured he would try and get away with using ugly, dead, wilted flowers. I DO NOT recommend any bride to book him. He told me he went into the bridal business because he was tired of seeing brides cry over vendors screwing them over, well Raul was that vendor for our wedding.
