Ya'll, when I tell you that she nailed my vision.. THIS BOUQUET WAS PERFECT. She even helped me figure out some peony replacements since peonies wouldn't be quite ready yet in the season. The other day I needed a corsage for my "dotter" because her oldest and this Gram's "Jellybean" was graduating from middle school. I felt his Mom too should be honored. If you ask for fillers it comes out to $15 which is very affordable for the quality. My family has been a customer and advocate for Peter Perkins since I can remember. Naturally when I became an adult, I too always ordered from Peter Perkens for every floral need. Unfortunately, I received the worst customer service recently from them that we have decided not to return... something I really never thought would happen unless we moved. We went in to get flowers for a couple of people in our family for Valentine's Day. Let me say, I understand the staff shortages, the product shortages.. I work as a nurse. Believe me. I get it. We are all facing An incredible demand for our services and are lacking the man power and even sometimes the supplies we need. What I don't understand was the delivery of the woman who helped us to tell us that basically we only had a few options of arrangement sizes with zero customizations. Did she tell us this all at once? No. I had to ask question after question, trying to figure out what I could and couldn't get and she slowly revealed more information in a very short and annoyed tone. Couldn't have said upfront what our options were and that they were very limited. That would have been absolutely fine. But her delivery was crappy. I was really caught off guard. I honestly can't ever remember a time where I have gotten worse customer service. I didn't purchase an arrangement that day. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere. Which is a tough thing. We have obviously been customers for decades of my life for a reason. This just goes to show, that you can have a great product, but it only takes one bad experience to turn people away. read more

This florist produced an incorrect arrangement and was defensive when they were called on it! I ordered lavender roses for my wedding! What was received was an arrangement with a lavender bow, and what appeared to be dark pink roses. I was horrified! I called and was asked "isn't the centers lavender and the tips fuchsia?" I responded that I didn't order lavender centers (which still looked light pink) with fuchsia tips. I order lavender. In disgust, I was told they would send out the correct color! Imagine my anger when the second arrangement arrived 5 hours later the same apparent color! What part of lavender didn't they understand??? Her "beau" of 4.5 years passed away on the 4th. I live in Southern California and asked my aunt who lives in the area where I should buy the flowers. She suggested that I use Peter Perkins. When I called the lady was so nice. I told her I wanted a sympathy bouquet. I know nothing about flowers and don't send them very often but she was very helpful. She asked how much I wanted to spend. I figured if I said $60 the total would be around $75. She explained that she could do a beautiful bouquet in a vase and the total would be $76 and some change. The following day my grandmother sent me a note saying how beautiful the bouquet was and how appreciated the thought.
