That said I haven't purchased anything from them yet as Dr Wan said I don't really need new eyewear. If I go back later that would be another review!

By 11:30 one person was done and I would still need to waiting another 30 minutes. I wish they just told me my appointment was for noon. This is exasperated given there is no free parking - their website notes to go into the building behind them and look for Commercial Tenant parking signs, there is no such thing. There is parking for BMO customers, visitors to the building and authorized personnel, no commercial tenant ones. I appreciate they want to keep the doctor's busy, but at the expense of customers wasting time when they need to pay is poor service.

When I came in Canada it was hard for me to find a good optometrist. I previously had 2 eye exams at different location, and no one of them were able to spot that I had astigmatism for one of my eye and would give me inaccurate prescription. So it feels good now to know that I have found a reliable place to go to if I have any issue with my vision. The prescription from Dr Liang was perfect and he also provided me with contact lenses that fit better than the brand I used to have. The lady at reception is also very kind. She proceeded to say how I was new to wearing glasses? I'm in my 50's and have been wearing glasses (prescribed reading glasses) since I was 27 and distance glasses since I was 44. This place reminds me of the store 3 for 1, who was taken to court and the owner fined a fortune for giving prescriptions without a certified optometrist. All their stores closed for good reason. If you want a deal on glasses that's fine, but don't risk your eye sight getting tested here, go to a proper optometrist first, then bring in your prescription. Honestly, you get what you pay for in places like this. Here is a tip to the actual owner - Treat your customers with respect. If your optometrist prescribes the wrong prescription, own it and apologize, that goes a LONG way. When you treat someone badly, you end up getting poor reviews from customers and customers are what make your business thrive.
