I had had such poor service the last time that I had sworn nearly to darken a Specsavers door again. However, some of the 'special offers' at this branch in Kilmarnock, drew me in to just try on a few frames. One of the members of staff, Phillip, was so friendly and helpful, that I decided to go ahead and make an eye-test appointment for the following week. That went extremely well and Victoria, the optician, couldn't have been nicer. Then I had a frames fitting with Laura, who made me laugh with her great sense of humour. She made the whole appointment very enjoyable but gave me good advice as well. I then bought some frames and lenses and they even worked out much cheaper than I'd expected (I was charged much more in Carmarthen 3 years ago despite selecting similarly priced frames and lenses!!) I then went back yesterday to pick up my super new glasses and had a frames fitting with Phillip who was, again, very friendly as was Laura who came over to say hello! The whole experience was actually enjoyable from start to finish thanks to the lovely people who work in this branch! I'm so glad I decided to go there and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this particular Specsavers to anyone.

There is one particular member of staff who is always unfriendly, sour, never able to say good morning, hello, or anything of that nature.If you should complain or remark, the other staff are inclined to side with one another like children in a playground.I had a substantial amount of money to spend on behalf of my neighbours for our garden but went elsewhere.They have no competition in Troon , unfortunately so you either buy there or go elsewhere. The staff are all so helpful, kind and focused on meeting your individual needs - really doing their best to accommodate personal needs. Robert and his team helped me pick out a scooter but when I realised I'd rather have an electric wheelchair, I messaged Robert and he got in touch very promptly. I could exchange my scooter for the type of electric wheelchair that fitted my budget (the scooter money going towards the chair) the best and went above and beyond in his assistance to us. He made sure my husband and I knew all about the chair, and took plenty of time to patiently answer questions and give us further advice. I was so happy with my purchase which is perfect for me. I am also extremely pleased with the service given and highly recommend this shop to anyone considering a scooter or electric wheelchair. The aftercare given has been excellent too. There's a good gardening section too, and stationery, toys and confectionery. Prices are much lower than most other stores yet the quality remains high. This is a friendly store and a pleasure to shop in. The staff are usually cheerful and this morning they were particularly jolly! You certainly get service with a smile and leave feeling better than when you went in. Found in the undercover shopping centre; there's a free car park downstairs outside the main doors to the mall.

I then said I was not trying to be rude but was there anyone serving on the collection area she was then rude saying she didn't see me and she only walked away 3 mins ago and I was not there. They take clothes there for repairs and alterations and explained that, not only is the work always of the highest standard, but probably cheaper than anywhere else. What higher recommendation could you ever need?!! Almost needless to say, I took some clothes straight down to the shop (which you'll find just round the corner from 'Subway' through the door on the left and up the stairs) and left them (along with a deposit) with a friendly lady there. A few days later I went back to pick up the clothes, which were beautifully repaired, and to pay the balance of a few pounds. Certainly cheap for such professional work and I shall definitely return when I need any more sewing done!
