Templeman opticians also caters to a wide and repeat audience with customers in their sixties, or small families and everyone is treated with respect and care. The selection of frames is constantly being updated and generally if you see something you like, you can ask instore and they will get them in. I have been going to Templeman for the past 3 to 4 years and have never had a bad experience. It's friendly, and the service I have received is top quality, and how many places can you go into and they know your name. They are also constantly looking to evolve and improve whether it's in the choice of frames or the equipment they use to provide the best care possible without alienating their customers whether they are in their sixties, or in their teens, or just having their eyes checked.

The glasses also work out expensive compared to other opticians. Eye tests have to be booked in advance as they do get busy but a long wait is rare.

There weren't enough seats to accommodate customers who were waiting...I had to stand When I told them I was mainly interested in contact lenses, not glasses...they fobbed me off and continued in their pursuit of selling me glasses instead. A terrible customer experience because my needs were ignored. Don't waste your time if you want contact lenses.

This is a locally run opticians and Optometrists, and is small and perfectly formed…read more If you want a quick eye test and the newest pair of designer frames, you could go elsewhere, but if you want a more in depth eye exam, or a test for some kinds of visual disturbances, (such as Irlen syndrome or other forms of Dyslexia) than you should start here first! I visited last year for my first full-length eye-test, and the Optician, a very gentle and entertaining chap, really did a fantastic job. He went into great detail to explain various conditions to me, not just the symptoms but the scientific causes, and seemed to enjoy sharing information. The price was good, and the service was excellent.
