Yes, definitely…read more I bought a gorgeous and pricy pair of glasses here a couple of years ago and they've taken care of me ever since. £25 for my eye exam, £90 for my lenses (my vision is quite poor).... not gonna tell you how much I spent on my frames... but all taken care of promptly and with a smile. They even helped me no problem when I wanted to order my contacts in the US (they had to send my prescription) rather than through them because it was cheaper. When I broke said expensive frames (that colour was sadly discontinued), they offered to order two pairs of the same frames in different colours so I could try them out. Sure, you can get inexpensive glasses elsewhere, but this is a small, privately owned optometrist that will really take care of your vision... stylishly!

The test equipment is very modern and you can now look at your retina on the Apple display if so inclined. I don't change my glasses very often, but I take the tube here whenever I do or for a routine eye test. Islington is a nice part of town so pop down and have a coffee near the canal next time you visit.

Being a smaller company, they are personable and helpful. We've been happy with the glasses, and have never had a quality issue. Their selection is adequate, with a good range of quality and prices. Definitely worth a visit! Parking is available in the Sainsbury's parking lot next door - if you don't get caught! Otherwise parking in the area is restricted until about 6:30pm. However, they are VERY close to the Golders Green underground and there are many bus routes stopping at this intersection.

She booked an eye test and contact lens appointment online and received an email stating that her appointment would be between 13.00 and 18.00. As there was no further communication from Vision Express we assumed they meant we should just turn up between those times and wait for someone to see us. We took the tube to Stratford and walked into the shop around 16.00 only to be told by an individual with zero personality or customer care skills that there was no appointment, because the mobile number my friend provided was French, not UK-based so they didn't feel like calling her on it. Charming. They wanted her to come back next week for an eye test, then back again several days later for the contact lens appointment. So we went across the road to Specsavers, who were delightful and sorted it out.

I tried the chat function on their website, no response. I sent a message on their facebook page, no response. After my second email to customer service they responded by saying "we'll let you know when it's on its way". I emailed back to ask them to specify if I should wait a day, a week or a month but of course nobody bothered to reply. There's no option to cancel the order so I'll have to talk to my credit card company to get my money back. I'm sure they're lovely people in the store but their online customer service is non-existent.

The staff are all helpful and friendly, particular the lady who deals with the contact lenses. They do a good selection of glasses across a wide price range. This store is medium sized and has a huge range of glasses for men, women and children. Each time i have been there i have recieved the upmost level of care and service and have found all members of staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I had someone stay with me, helping and advising, the whole time i was trying on different pairs of glasses. In no other opticians have I ever actually enjoyed being there. A brilliant all round opticians.
