We made an appt. to see the David Weekley Properties in Buckeye with Sales Rep Dale. David Weekley's team sent us two texts to be sure we did not waste their personnel's time. Dale never showed for the appointment. We saw his picture, though. He could be David Weekley's great nephew. There was a older woman sitting in the home the central office sent us to. The woman was baffled and had no idea what to do. We could not understand why she was there, as she was worse than no help at all. Her general confusion was profound. She would not call Dale or a person in Authority. It appears David Weekley just sent someone's grandmother in to watch the store. Finally she gave us directions to the model homes. She did not know if they were open or not. We'll never know, because she gave us the wrong directions. I wouldn't mind as much if we had not wasted a Saturday and a six hour drive for uncaring and incompetent sales people. read more

Built our beautiful forever home here two years ago. I had read about the HOA being particular and difficult to work with, however I haven't had any problems. Everything I've submitted has been approved. Just read the design rules and follow them and you'll have no problem. If you dont like rules, then don't live in a community with an HOA. We enjoy the quiet, safe neighborhood, as well as the wildlife that wander through our neighborhood. We appreciate living in a neighborhood that is regulated so the place looks uniformly great. Not having neighbors with dirt backyards is a pleasure that we don't take for granted. We are very happy to enjoy the clean air, and the proximity to wide open unspoiled vistas. And all the attractions of town are just a quick freeway ride away. We feel we have it all here. read more

Signed contract Oct 2021 home still sitting at frame stage waiting on 4 windows with no available time or date. Rates are soaring, we can't lock in until 60 days prior to COE (that date never comes). DW will not help us and are offering incentives but will not help us, as we wait in limbo with zero answers. It's sad we have waited for 4 mos and still have nothing, the home is now, not affordable, we will be forced to walk away and lose 70+K. They don't care one bit! They looked us straight in the face and said, too bad, we have no idea where your windows are or when they will come! I don't believe they don't know, something is wrong with the picture (window)! The HOA is insane. Whoever voted in the new crazy lady that runs it right now should be slapped. And I should be slapped for not voting lol. This lady is on her high horse and has created a really uncomfortable atmosphere between residents and the HOA. If you can buy elsewhere, do it. They regulate you down to the thickness of your turf (in your backyard!!!). What effect that has on the HOA is completely beyond me. Honestly, they have way too much control and it's invasive. I felt like I never owned my home with all of their stipulations. I am so happy to be free of them! Also, when you sell your home they WILL dip into your escrow and look for every tiny fee they can take. Thankfully it's just money and you can be free of their tyrannical reign, for a price lol. read more

I moved into this area 4yrs ago. I'm disappointed in the loss of wildlife. It seems greed has consumed this community. It's lost its charm and becoming trashy. The HOA is horrible about handling complaints and seems to play favoritism. They ignore complaints such as cars up on jacks with expired registration for years at a time. Cars parked all over the street. People washing their dirty muddy trucks off. But then charge you for leaving your trash can out for one day too long. I can no longer even drive down down my street because there's so many cars parked on the street. 4 more years and can't wait to move. read more

If you're looking for a new place to reside, this is one of the most easy on your mind and nerves. Ride your bikes down the wide bike lanes up and down, through the parks, and the multitude of running paths that run up and down all of the neighborhoods. The community of Vistancia is a beautiful and very well planned and managed development. The amenities are first rate. The community center, aquatic center are fantastic. The public Trilogy Golf Course at Vistancia was rated five stars by Golf Digest... A very exclusive honor for a public course. It is a place that just feels good to be alive in. We moved to Vistancia thinking its a dog friendly community. Very disappointed about the way HOA and community views pets as nuisance. You can't even let your dogs out for 30 minutes without someone complaining about barking and the barking is not even that bad, only when the dog hears a stranger. You get an anonymous threatening letter from pet hating neighbor trying to call Animal control. I would re-think before buying here. Its not been that long for us moving into the community but will move out soon. read more

The HOA is ridiculous there is NO consistency in how they pass out fines. The lack of communication between the board and the residents is a HUGE issue. I suppose that is how they increase the revenue, fine first. Can't WAIT to move.. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

I love the home we built here in Vistancia but I would advise others to think before you upgrade to a view fence in your back yard. If your neighbors don't like you having patio lights the HOA will force you to take them down by calling them "Holiday Lights". Any time you write anything to your HOA that you pay dues to about something you disagree with that goes against what they "feel" they will say you're the only one with this view/complaint and will dismiss it. Like I said, I do love our home but not a fan of this HOA. I never imagine someone would dictate what you do in your own backyard. I can see if we were doing something out of the normal but patio lights, really?! Our lights have been up for a year. The HOA isn't fair with following their rules. Some things they follow and others they over look. The community areas are okay but their community pool could use an update, specially the pool by the HOA. My children loved the idea of having slides at the pool, but we found out later it can be painful as it scrapes as you when you slide down. Sad, we cannot enjoy the lot we paid the upgrade for when building our dream home! read more

This is a beautiful community out here in Vistancia and very nice to look at as you walk the trails. We moved here thinking we would get a bit more from what appeared to be a first rate Community, the people that live here create the down fall. It seems you must own a dog or two to live here, leave the dog outside to bark all day and own the idea that dogs just bark so the neighbors should understand that. Cute it is not. The HOA is a full time job with a part time status requirement, the front office lady is the complete backbone to the administrative branch as most staff find other places to be or somebody else heads that up that is not here. I really feel we pay for a lot more than we get here in Vistancia with the fees that are charged to move here and what you get in return does not foot the bill. The pool slides should be open on weekends for the kids and our visitors coming in from out of town, gets a bit old having to tell guests that the slides are not open. Neighbors here keep to themselves and will watch your home burn to the ground thinking someone else will make the 911 call. I do think a hard working and dedicated HOA could make a difference out here. Bike paths are great, nice scenery and more rules what you cannot do rather than what you can. Take a look at the amenities and their uses before you buy in Trilogy! You pay a lot of money for services that are limited because of over crowding. Not worth the extra fuel and Hoa dues compared to the amenities provided to live out here. read more
