A close family member was admitted to Yorktown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after extensive…read moresurgery. The medical care and compassion were outstanding in every manner possible. Her spirit was always cheerful and she always had great praise for the staff at the nursing home. She consistently mentioned how fortunate she was to be so well cared for by everyone. This is a five star nursing facility.

The staff said something that stuck with me, and that was that this home wants to take care of their community and keep its members in tact. The people here are my family members neighbors. I like that.

Overall great facility - everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is so incredibly friendly and caring -…read morethey've really become an extension of our family. One exception - Tommie is not to be trusted. Very rude to patients and borderline abusive. Her handling is aggressive - she blames elderly patients for falling....literally yelled at my grandpa when she found him on the ground asking for help. She should be removed immediately. I pray for her that whatever trauma / hurt she is dealing with is resolved so that she can treat others with the compassion they deserve and that her job demands. Thank you to everyone except Tommie for caring for our loved ones! We greatly appreciate all that you've done!
