Had a referral sent a month (december) ago. Never received a call from this business to schedule an appointment. Called a couple times to s hedule but never heard from them. Finally got a hold of ASHLEY. Let her know who i was and why i called. ASHLEY said she denied my referral! She said the denial was sent back. Interesting if the denial was sent, why would my referral team keep calling me to see if i had an appointment? Why would my referral team be telling me they have tried to call this company and not getting a return call? SIMPLE, THEY DO NOT WANT TO WORK WITH VETERANS!!! There is lying going on & its not the VA!! THIS COMPANY HAS A CONTRACT WITH THE VA! THERE SHOULD BE NO DENIAL OF SERVICES. Please beware - the providers here are doing unneccessary invasive procedures on their patients. I saw one of their NP's for 2 kidney stones. She said both were too low for lithotripsy (a very easy procedure). That was a lie because one was in the upper ureter and one was mid ureter. I wanted to try to pass them anyway. A couple weeks later, one was almost in the bladder and the other was still in the upper ureter. I was still being pressured to do the invasive scope and extraction, with a two week stent. The next day I called them and said I'd rather try to pass the one almost out and do a lithotripsy on the other one. You would have thought I had contradicted God himself, with all the backlash I received. Needless to say, I will not be back. As a pharmacist, it is my job to protect people from bad providers, and I will certainly be spreading the work on this corrupt practice. read more
