I hate to have to say this, but Ozark Eye Center has shown itself, in my experience, to be…read moreunbelievably incompetent and unwilling to accept responsibility for its mistakes. In my case, they made five mistakes in a row, finally refusing to correct them. * One: The ophthalmologist assigned me a non-standard reading-distance in my glasses prescription; it was too far away for me to read comfortably. * Two: An optician specified that the bifocal line be very low, saying she thought I had requested it. I had not. * Three: To correct the reading-distance, the optometrist did a new refraction, but forgot (!) to enter the new diopter specification on the prescription, so I had the same wrong glasses as before. * Four: Another optician undertook to do a loose-lens test to correct the prescription, but lacking something so simple as a tape-measure, she tried to improvise, and mismeasured my requested reading-distance by an inch and a half, too close for me to read easily. * Five: That last pair of lenses came back from the lab with the close-focus insets in two different positions and at different angles. In spite all these errors, they refused me any remedy except another pair of the too-close lenses, despite the fact that the one option between the too-far and too-close prescriptions would have required no further testing. My only mistake was in politely accepting that these people were competent in their jobs.

Dr Piper has…read morebeen our eye doctor for 25 years and just because he moved 100 miles away, we will still be glad to follow him wherever he is. Dr Piper is the very best eye doctor that we have ever had and we aren't going to let a little distance get in our way of having the best eye care. We also got our glasses promptly and they were just the way we wanted them. Only two hours and we were driving back home with brand new sunglasses. They look great, they feel great, but most important is we know they are right. We would Highly recommend any and all people go to Dr Piper's Vision Express to get the best eye care around :)

Even though I had to go back a couple of times to make some adjustments, they were always friendly and tried their best to make me happy. That's just my story, but I want to share about my mom's experience as well. I invited her from Armenia to see how our doctors can help her. She had severe complications after cataract surgery and couldn't see hardly anything with one of her eyes. She went to multiple doctors back home, but they couldn't help her. Our great doctor Alex Kilgore surgically recovered her vision on both eyes. Another great doctor Steven Rae prescribed her glasses for double vision which was the culmination of the story! My mom couldn't believe her own eyes! It is wonderful! Thank you, Kilgore Vision Center! Absolutely recommend it to everyone.
