Great little Italian restaurant around the corner from the Marktplatz, nicely out of the main tourist area view but close by. There's a small bar area for about 4 people but then many tables of varying sizes to accommodate the diners (though not a huge restaurant). The staff was very inviting and the owner even came over to chat, which gave it a very neighborhood or family feel to it.
There were a good variety of drinks, beer, wine or mixed drink options and all very good and reasonably priced. Our local Hefeweizen beer was only €3.50 for 0.5L and we had a good red wine for only €4.80. The meal selection was diverse, though we all ended up ordering the bolognese pasta. The flavors were well done with a good amount of meat and chunks of tomatoes and perfectly cooked pasta. We also got the last tiramisu. It was good with good coffee flavors and rich marscapone though I would have preferred a little more of the soaked cookies layered in.
Overall this is a perfect dinner choice to enjoy a relaxing evening after exploring this charming town. read more
