Easy in, easy out!!!…read more We're alway hesitant booking a reservation at a place we've never been before. Lotus Blu put our anxiety to rest right off the bat. Check-in was easy, as was check-out. The hotel is in real good condition. Staff is friendly. We even asked for the room that my brother-in-law was staying in to be close to the elevator because he is physically disabled and the staff accommodated that with no questions asked. We took advantage of the free shuttle to the airport which was perfect. We only spent one night there so we didn't get a chance to test their restaurant. All in all, highly recommended - - I can't think of anything negative. Enjoy.

Tip: request for Mayon View and wake up as early as 6am to see its full majestic view. Most of the time, the perfect cone was covered with clouds. I am always keen about the food that the hotel serves, the breakfast buffet service at Venezia is something commendable and available from 6:00am to 10:00am. If you're planning to visit Bicol, Venezia offers free airport transfers and even day tour to Misibis Bay. There are all-in packages inclusive of water activities in Misibis. It is actually located inside a village. The pool is a 3-minute walk from the hotel premises but the area is extremely safe and quiet. There are rooms with two deluxe beds that can fit a family of four.

She even created a wonderful itinerary for us to explore the Camalig area, loaded us onto a Jeepney, and instructed the driver where, exactly, to drop us off. While here I encountered travelers from Japan, the Philippines, and India- everyone is truly welcomed. As a first time traveler to Asia/the Philippines, this was a great place to cut my teeth. These types of situations require the best cup of coffee ever made in the universe. To be had before beginning each day you are in town. Representing a sort of, "Alright, I can do this. Let's go." This hotel, only God knows why, possesses the power to produce the most amazing cup of coffee in the world. A dark, rich, house blend, served piping hot. I quickly became addicted. I don't know why I had to be all the way in Bicol to find the best cup of coffee ever served. Maybe God knew I needed it.

The biggest perk of a much smaller airport is that getting in and out can be a breeze. My family rolled 8 deep from Manila. Our flight landed a little bit early which gave us just the right amount of time to enjoy a bevy at the Avo shop. The waiting area is spacious and comfortable. Our flight out to go back home to California was a breeze considering there was 11 of us total. We had just enough time to get a meal.
