I can't believe I haven't updated my review - I stop in every 3-4 weeks for lunch. Location recently changed, they're now a few hundred feet north of old location. Still working on their seating and parking area, but they always have room for more. Food and service are great. Portions served fast and hot. Dine in, take out, walk in, call ahead they can handle it. My reason for 4 stars is dirt driveway / parking area. Gets very dusty when a vehicle pulls through. read more

Best tacos in the area! This is a simple taco truck in someone's backyard. You'll be sitting at picnic tables under the live oaks and Spanish moss. Relaxing setting! Happy to find an AUTHENTIC Mexican food truck near The Villages. Rice and beans sides were standard fare, but the chicken quesadilla was awesome- hot and fresh. My spouse had the spicy sausage Tacos- also fresh and hot. We arrived just as they opened at 4 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. Other folks were arriving about every 5 minutes, so I'm sure they got busy closer to dinner time. Located just off HWY 301 about 25 min from TV. Nice set up with tables under a large permanent tarp- kept the rain off. Very friendly staff/ owners. Will be going again soon. read more

This has to be the best taco truck I've ever been to every taco is cooked to order so its super fresh. This is probably the only authentic mexican food you'll find in this part of Florida. The tacos are only $1.50 each! The owner is very friendly, he wiped off the chair for me to sit on. They brought sauces, napkins and everything to my table. I would highly recommend the cachete taco. What a nice surprise out in the middle of nowhere! The craving for a good taco started while watching Taco Chronicles on Netflix. I searched the internet for authentic tacos near me and was getting frustrated, when this little stand popped up. Though I was already for bed, I threw on some shorts and a t-shirt and headed for the door. The falling rain and distant lightning could not discourage me from the longings. Driving through The Villages, past the dreary eyed seniors on their golf carts I made my way. Finally reaching my destination on the country roadside. It wasn't much to look at. A slab of concrete covered by a carport tarp. I knew this was going to be good when I saw that the costumers were of the same ethnic background as the proprietors. I ordered two Bistec (Steak) Tacos and two Adobada (Marinated pork) Tacos. To wash the tacos down I ordered Pineapple Aguas Frescas (Pineapple Water) which was yummy. My partner in crime had Cachete (Beef Cheek) Tacos and a tamale with cheese and peppers, both were delicious. There are a lot of choices and the prices are just right. Order what you want but keep an open tab as you may want more before you leave. Plenty of parking under the trees. read more
