As a returning patient traveling from Los Angeles to Vive Plastic Surgery in Tijuana for the second time, I can confidently say that my experience here has once again been nothing short of amazing. A few years ago I came to Vive for my BBL, and now I'm back for a breast revision, rib flexation, and lipo -- and the level of care, communication, professionalism, and attention to detail continues to exceed my expectations.
I especially want to give the biggest thank you to my coordinator, Melissa. She has truly made this entire process seamless from start to finish. We've been communicating for several months leading up to my surgery, and every single time I had a question, concern, or needed reassurance, she was there immediately. Her communication is honestly unmatched. She makes you feel like you are her only patient, and that level of attention and care means everything, especially when traveling for surgery.
From the moment I crossed the border today, everything was perfectly organized. Melissa coordinated transportation and communication with the driver, and getting to all of my appointments -- blood work, consultations, and everything in between -- was completely stress-free. Having their courtesy transportation available makes the entire experience so easy and convenient.
One thing that really stands out to me is how meticulous and organized everything is. The cleanliness level throughout the facility is excellent, and every part of the process feels extremely well thought out. Getting all of my pre-op testing done was incredibly easy and efficient. In the United States, you can sometimes wait days or even weeks for blood work results, but here my results came back within about an hour. They handle everything in the same facility -- blood work, EKG testing, imaging, and X-rays for the rib flexation evaluation -- and they genuinely make sure you are a proper candidate before moving forward. They absolutely do not cut corners here, and that gave me a huge sense of trust and comfort.
I also really appreciated the honesty from the team. Originally, I was fully prepared to stay 21 nights at the recovery house because I wanted to make sure I had enough recovery time. Instead of upselling me, they were completely transparent and told me that two weeks would realistically be more than enough for my procedure and recovery. That honesty honestly meant a lot to me because it showed they truly care about their patients and aren't just trying to make extra money.
I also want to highly recommend Sergio at the med spa. I've seen him previously for non-surgical treatments, including hyaluronic acid filler, and he is fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and talented at what he does.
What really stands out to me about Vive is how cared for you feel. I have surgery tomorrow morning, and surprisingly, I'm not anxious at all. I already have my own private hospital room the night before surgery, and my surgeon is even coming to personally consult with me today before my procedure since my case is more complex. That level of attention is rare.
I also chose to stay again in the VIP private room at the recovery house because my experience there years ago was incredible. The nurses are attentive around the clock, the chef prepares balanced low-sodium meals, and the entire environment feels safe, comfortable, and supportive. Coming here alone for surgery could feel intimidating, but honestly, Vive makes it feel easy. The staff genuinely cares about their patients, and you can feel that in every interaction.
People often ask me why I don't just go to Beverly Hills, especially since I've had surgery there before -- and honestly, my answer is always the same: the level of care, attention, hospitality, and overall experience I receive at Vive is exceptional. You truly get so much value, but more importantly, you are surrounded by people who genuinely care about your comfort and recovery.
I'm writing this review completely by choice because I genuinely have not experienced a single hiccup throughout this process. As a repeat patient, that says everything.
