I decided to try this location out, even though it's hidden in a corner of a strip center, it did not disappoint. $35 for a basic pedicure! $10 more if you want gel polish. The next package up is $45 and $55. For the basic pedicure, they trimmed my cuticles and scrubbed off all my dead skin, trimmed and shaped my nails and put gel polish. At any other place, that would've been end of service. Nope, they did the hot towel wrap, gave me a nice massage and slathered oil and lotion on my feet and legs. What cost $45 at this salon would've been at least $55-65 at the other salons I go to. They also use the exact same products. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in and they were just so friendly, we spent most of my service just chit chatting away. They actually talk to you like they're hanging out with an old friend, not like these other salons that do the small talk that goes from one ear and out the other. One thing I noticed is if you walk in with gel polish on already, they don't charge you extra to remove like other salons do. 10/10. This place is a hidden gem. The prices. No wait. Staff is friendly.

But when I got there the nail tech seemed to be very bothered, so much so that it made the conversation a bit awkward. I did notice they cleaned up my cuticles so they get a star for that. But I got my dip done in silence and when the nail tech finished I noticed she didn't clean up the dip that was on my cuticles, as in not on the nail. I pointed it out hoping she would clean it up but she said it will fall off on its own.... I that was the first time I've ever left a nail salon with my nails looking so sloppy. However, my last visit was the nail in the coffin. The woman acted like she was angry, and was quite rough - in fact left a blood blister under the nail of my thumb hitting it really hard with her drill, and I know she saw what she did. But she kept going, heavy handed. She filed the side off that same thumb nail and I have no reason why, but as this nail is growing out it is split at the nail bed where she made it narrow. But only on one side. The nails were so thick I had little use of my hands until I soaked the nails off, and it took an hour. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm not going back. I always tip well and have never been demanding, so I'm not sure where the aggression came from, but because of this last tech, a mature woman who I will not name, I am tearing up my punch card and moving on.
