I asked about a mammogram as it had been almost 2 years. "Overdone," he said. "Just wait until it's time again. If it were me, I would forgo it". Three months later it feels bigger and there is a discharge. Stage 3 breast cancer. Hello mastectomy, chemo, radiation. Now I just heard of a friend who basically is going through the same issue - he underestimates to the point of negligence! Why he is still practicing is beyond me. Please do not go here.

One OB did not see a heartbeat at 5-6 weeks and scheduled a D&C. An optional second opinion…read moreultrasound was offered and luckily I went because there was a baby and a heartbeat after all. The OB did not follow up about their mistake or show compassion about how that would impact a patient. Receptionists are not very welcoming, and most of the time can't schedule or reschedule appointments- you have to wait a day or two for your care team to facilitate this. In the final two weeks of a pregnancy it took more than a week to hear back from my OB. The C section process was described by two OBs that they would do skin to skin right away and could show me the baby being pulled out - but none of this happened. The baby was brought to me more than 5 minutes after, fully covered and we could not do skin to skin for at least 30 minutes after, when we were moved to another room (there were no complications). Overall very disappointed and have heard of similar experiences from multiple people.
