I have been going there since I was a kid in the 90s and the staff there is amazing. I have seen a few different doctors when I moved away for a bit and MCFP's doctors made me realize how amazing they are. The front office staff is great too. I am bummed they got bought out my the Everett Clinic because them being owned by the doctors let them treat people without money in mind but the same folks are still employed there which made me keep coming back. I understand it's the pandemic and people wanting or having the skills to work are far and few----but as loyal as I've been this to this practice going for almost the past 4 years with my son. It's sad how far gone they've come. I'm not sure what's going on but it's not fair to patients especially since I just needed my prescription refilled and took the day off just so I can get to the appointment. I'm a high school teacher by the way. It's no easy feat. Called the day prior (to cancel) and the receptionist told me I should have 15 mins. So if I can strive to make it - I should since they're all booked up. I accidentally booked when it's a Wednesday late start for the first day of my son for his school. And sinceI'm a single Mom it's vital I be there for his milestone. I tried calling the day of the appointment since I'm literally 10 mins. Late. No one was answering! I was on hold the entire time as I was getting to the parking lot! I came to the desk.... 3 people but 2 had other patient to take care off. I had to wait.... So of course by then I was really late since the other person was "busy". She called the back to ask..... The doctor already left for lunch! So no on the prescription refill. It was a great idea and even novel idea to have a more individualized care but at this point I'm staying away. I was coming from Stanwood and just dropped off my kid for his first day of school during a late start. For a prescription refill.... The doctors couldn't squeeze me in! As if it's easy for me to get another sub. Or to get another day off!!!!! This person is beyond livid! Who goes to lunch at 11am???? Maybe if I put it under urgency care maybe they'll see me but for basic thing like a prescription refill? Nah. Too little money in that visit. After I wrote this review I received a letter in the mail from Mill creek family practice stating that they we're terminating our relationship and that I couldn't come back to their office for care ! The letter gave no explanation why all it said was that I could not return for care . Which was fine with me because I had already moved on to a new care but this is just another great example of what a Joke this place is they seriously don't care about anything but Money. It's sad that after so many years of using that they would treat anyone this way . I did like my Doctor there but how thy treat people is appalling . This clinic used to be second to none in my opinion and my family have been patients there for years. I was always able to get in to see my Dr or at least A Dr with very little notice. Since being taken over by Everett Clinic, everything has changed. Getting an appointment is next to impossible and if you can, it isn't with your regular Dr or within any reasonable time frame. My insurance carrier is dropping them from my network presumably because they are now part of Everett Clinic, or maybe just because they've turned to shit. Everett Clinic is THE worst care in the area, short of perhaps Kaiser. It sucks trying to find a Dr or clinic you can trust, but it'll be worth it once I do. The best doctor retired a couple years ago so I picked the next best and now he just retired and they will not let me go to the next doctor or any doctor in that clinic. I have had a great experience with MCFP so far. I was referred to Dr. Price by a fellow nurse colleague, after my former primary care doc left his practice without notice. I was previously an Everett Clinic patient, but I decided to try something new and I was intrigued by how this clinic also has their physicians staff an urgent care type of set-up in the same building. I also liked how they have a lab on campus, and ample parking in a convenient location. My first visit in February was just a yearly physical type of exam and a chance for me to establish care with a new PCP. I immediately liked Dr. Price. He was very personable, reasonable, thorough, and took time to get to know me and chat about my history (which isn't much, but he took the time to figure that out). The MAs/nurses were equally friendly and competent, and after my first visit, I was relieved to have found this practice so quickly. Having to start over with new physician can be daunting, but that simply wasn't the case here. Several months later, I decided to see Dr. Price again for some nagging numbness in my hand. Again, he was the same upbeat and caring physician that I had met previously. He did not seem rushed, and he answered all of my questions, gave me a few options, and referred me to a specialist. My appointment was on time, check in and check out went smoothly, and I left feeling like I had a plan. If you are in need of a family medicine doctor, I highly recommend this practice, and specifically, Dr. Price. I'm so happy I found them. read more

Note: I sent a notice (including this review) to the entire Practice three weeks prior to posting this review. At no point did the practice reach out to me to address this problem. This is the type of care you should expect if you decide to be a patient at the clinic. I was a patient at the Mill Creek Family Practice for 32 years. My first doctor was my next door neighbor and the guy that they literally named the building after. Throughout all the years I was willing to accept some of the frustrating things about being a patient (mainly that you never actually see he doctor at the time of your appointment) because they generally seemed like they cared for their patients. Unfortunately, I will no longer be using MCFP as my health care provider due to a mistake they made in March 2018 that cost me $1,800. I came in with a request for a blood test and was prescribed a non-standard test as my only option. At no point did my doctor inform me that there were other more standard tests available. When my insurance denied my claim and I asked what I could have done to prevent that problem I was told things like "you got the test results you needed" and "we decided a more in-depth test was necessary because of what was involved". None of these are accurate and at no point would they admit that they may have made a mistake. It is a shame when you have to walk away from a place you partnered with for the majority of your life. However, I would caution anyone considering using their service to understand that when push comes to shove they are going to leave you stranded with an enormous bill that was caused due to their practice of not providing you with informed consent on options (options that are standard) that might be available to you. read more

You cannot speak with a physician unless you have a scheduled appointment even after you have just seen them and have follow-up questions. Their front desk receptionist does not pass back messages to staff. And when they submit a referral to a specialty physician, and you wait two weeks to hear from the clinic they are referring you to (that they never tell you who they are referring you to) you learn that the clinic they have sent the referral to will not see the patient because the patient is under the age of 18. So we still wait longer - with no phone call from MCFP to notify us of the go forward plan. So if you have anything that is recurring or ongoing needing medical diagnosis or treatment - do not see anyone at MCFP. They do not care about their patients but are happy to process payment immediately!! read more

How can a practice have all the nicest people in one place is beyond my surprise. Been going to them since 2010, never had 1 bad experience. Dr. Anderson is our main physician and he is wonderful. Occasionally we use Dr. Price or Dr.Bacon, also wonderful. I have never had to wait more than a day to see one of my physicians if I couldn't get in the same day but 90% of the time was seen either immediately or within a couple of hrs. I have nothing but great things to say about my experiences from the doctor's care to nurses prompt responses. They are all passionate about what they do and their approach is always conservative to treatment which I appreciate. read more

Mill Creek Family Practice got my girlfriend and I in same day...as new patient's you might expect that. Fast forward a few months and I'm dying again. Pretty sure I have a sinus and ear infection and need to see someone. The doctor I had chosen didn't have any openings but they got me in last minute to see another at the clinic...and at 6:50pm even! Further, after I took my meds to the pharmacy the pharmacist needed to talk to him and they returned their call promptly despite it being almost 9pm. They'd be 5 stars if they hadn't declined my cash co-pay due to lack of change. read more

Extremely overpriced. Got charged $339 for the visit which lasted about 15-20 minutes. I asked the billing department why is was so expensive and they told me there was a charge for re-establishing patients because it had been many years since I had last been a patient. They then tried to blame the high cost had to do with my deductible - and I'm sorry but whatever my deductible is has nothing to do with your high pricing and what you charge your patients before my insurance comes into play. They are two very different things entirely. I got checked out for a hernia, got a prescription for acne, and got blood drawn at the lab. Dr Bacon was great and I have no complaints at all with the checkup, but $339 for that?! You've got to be kidding me. Won't be going back due to the high cost. read more

I have been a patient of MillCreek Family practice for almost 30 years. I have my favorite doctor and nurse who know my medical history however all of the doctors are good. If my doctor is not available then scheduling with another is always open and an option. There are doctors available with different specialties. Imaging and Blood work department is onsite and available. They offer patient portal, Wifi and charging stations. While no one enjoys being sick, Millcreek Family Practice takes your healthcare seriously and they provide the best possible care. read more

Their whole computer system is archaic. Getting any sort of medical record or form has required a trip to the office. The phones are never answered. Their billing department goes straight to voicemail with a 48 hour response time. They do have an online portal, but it doesn't hardly work. It works for paying your bill (but not viewing it). The portal does work for messaging your care team, and so far that has worked pretty well. Speaking of care team, I haven't exactly received the best care from them, either. read more

I'm very saddened that I won't be coming here anymore, after 8+ years of coming here regularly. While nothing spectacular, my experience here overall has always been positive..., until this past visit. A month prior to this visit, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol, so Dr. A. prescribed me a medication. He told me to try it for a month, and come back for a follow up visit. So on my way out I make an appointment at the front desk for a month out; because Dr A is pretty busy, I can't get any slot other than middle of the day. When I get home, I remember you have to fast for 8 hours before a cholesterol blood draw. So I call them and ask if I should fast before my visit. The receptionist puts me on hold and talks to a nurse, and tells me that likely Dr A wants to check something else, and since he didn't mention blood draw, I won't likely draw blood. So on the day of my visit, I burn a sick leave from work, and come in. After checking me in, the nurse takes my temperature and blood pressure, and asks me if I had fasted. Annoyed, I tell her how I called to double check, and was told not to fast. So she does rest of her thing and leaves the room. I sit in the room alone for about 40 minutes before Dr A comes in. Immediately he tells me to just come back later for blood draw. Even more annoyed, I tell him what I told the nurse, expecting some sort of apology or acknowledgement of my inconvenience. How naive of me.... Dr A goes in a very matter of fact tone of voice: "well frankly I can't make money if you don't come in for visits, and I have to pay $40,000 a month for rent." I'm absolutely shocked and brain-numbed, and all I can mumble out is "that's not very customer focused." He shrugs and says "well that's what everyone does." And types in some stuff in the computer in awkward silence. More than shocked and angered, I'm just so damn disappointed. Dr A always seemed like a nice considerate professional. So I just tell him, "well I'm not sure whether I'll come in for the blood draw," and he replies, "if you do, the order is in the system" and leaves the room without saying anything. I seriously considered reporting this visit as an insurance fraud (they billed me for this visit), but decided against it. read more

I am retired military, am working, have insurance through Primara/Blue Cross and Tricare, however they will not take me as a new patient because I also have Medicare. "We are not taking new Medicare patients." "But my primary insurance is Primara/Blue Cross." "We are not taking new Medicare patients at this time." So if you've got Medicare, even is you have coverage through work, don't bother with this practice. read more

I would not go to this clinic if you work and ever have an injury. My husband had a sore hip and they wouldn't even see him, even though he had been a patient for 4 years. The front desk people wouldn't even make a appointment, because they assumed that it would be L&I claim and they "don't work with L&I claims" They referred us to a walk in clinic at Providence Hospital, were my husband got ex rays and pain killers and a referral to Physical Therapist The walk in clinic was not able to fill out the paper work for his work that excused him for the 5 days off of work so we had to see another doctor to get the excuse. This doctor ended up xraying his knees and referred him to an orthopedic doctor. Never the less his $1000 deductible has now been used up. There was never a claim to L&I but the front desk people at Mill Creek Family Practice are so paranoid of L&I that they won't let my husband see the doctor. We are changing our Family Doctor because this clinic guards the doctors (that may be good doctors) and are not into providing service. If you have ever seen the adds that say "call your doctor if" it won't happen here, they won't let you. I should have known when I went in for my initial visit years ago and they had a framed note on the counter that read "Please limit your doctors visit to only one issue" my response was "don't you want all my symptoms?"' read more

One of the worst experience in any medical institution in my whole life that happened in Mill Creek Family Practice today . I had a scheduled regular annual check up today at 10:30 for my 3 year old daughter. I was told that I have to come at 10:15 to fill in paperwork. I was late couple of minutes and I I called from my car to let know receptionist desk that I'll be late for the 10:15 but I'll come couple of minutes before 10:30. Tracy or Stacy, not sure about a name, told me that the doctor wont be able to see me and that I have to reschedule?????? I was shocked! I told her that I'm just minute away. When I came, other person on front desk repeated that even I'm not late for doctors appointment, I'll have to reschedule. I couldn't believe my ears. I was at the clinic between 10:20 and 10:25 and they wouldn't let me see a doctor because I was late between 5 and 10 minutes. I told them that I want to see what is the paperwork that I have to fill in - just wanted to see if there is really a lot of papers which will take 15 minutes to fill in. They gave me one paper which I needed just to sign. So, I was told to come 15 minutes before my appointment just to sign 1 paper. Is this how they respect my time? When I was late couple of minutes for fill-in-one-paper-in15minutes-time I was told that my appointment will be rescheduled. Is this how they treat people? Seriously??? This is a same clinic where couple of times I had to wait for doctor even though I came on time. I didn't make any issue of that. I'm reasonable, I can understand that sometimes I have to wait. How come I didn't get any understanding, when I was late just couple of minutes? How come I got bunch of soulless people at the front desk telling me - oh, that is just a policy? They are medical professionals, they should help people, not treat like they are nothing. At the end I ended up with nurse practitioner, a person that my daughter doesn't know and doesn't trust. I will definitely stop being patient at this Clinic. My family too. I don't think that I deserve to be treated like this. My husband and I are new patients to this practice. We never get sick in our house and my husband has no medical issues ... but we made a promise to each other to go once a year for a full blood panel to make sure nothing's going on. The doctors we've seen are great. I've seen Dr Bacon. He's very professional and respectful. We are a holistic family at heart and he respects that. Very hard to find doctors that don't want to just cram prescriptions down your throat for things that could be treated naturally (I.e. Garlic for high cholesterol, etc). Only current complaint is the disorganization with the lab. My husband literally was just seen on 10/3 and wasn't fasting so the soonest he could come back was Saturday AM. He did, but apparently the lab had no orders for him or the person in front of him. Not sure who's at fault for the error but never the less it was stressful for my husband waiting longer and dealing with that since he doesn't do well with needles. Dr. Stukovsky is a great doctor, my wife and I have been seeing him for a year and he is attentive, and has helped with a variety of issues, the latest being a worn/torn medial meniscus. I did my own research into the treatment and diagnosis of it, and the Dr followed the conservative treatment route, but he also recommended a course of action that the latest papers say is good for treatment of this issue, namely physical therapy. I don't get the other reviews of "avoid this place." I really don't. A rival review website which I will not name gave this place an "A" and I think it deserves it. The help is attentive and helpful, I've never had a problem getting a time slot, and I've never had to wait an excessively long time. I highly suggest the other reviewers see things with a fresh perspective, and ask themselves whether they know better than a doctor? I think not. And if you don't like what the doctor says, get a second opinion or read it up yourself, like I did. The Dr here knows what he's doing. read more

I hate going to the doctors "MAINLY" for several reasons. Mind you, these reasons all fit under this clinic. 1. I get the wait. I know doctors have to be here and there. What I don't get is waiting in queue for an hour, and then being ushered inside a room and waiting for a doctor an extra 45 minutes, for a 5 minute visit. 2. Doctors who don't know what the crap is wrong with you, but decide to prescribe you some pills for the fun of it. 3. Doctors who prescribe you more pills, even if the ones you are already using don't work. 4. Doctors who suggest different types of pills to use, and none of them work. 5. Doctors that "thiiiinnnnkkkk" you might have this, or this, or this or this or this or this, but really ain't too sure. 6. Doctors that try to sell you on other drugs/shots you don't need, but if you don't have it, then you might be dead. My mom was so sucked in when he said, "if you were my daughter, I would sign up for these shots". Guess what? I got them. Thanks. Well, that's just MY doctor. I know this isn't their fault (partially), but I decided to use a different insurance card one day (it's that crappy insurance they give you at work) in order to skip the copayment. Why was I so stupid? A 10 minute visit to the doctors ended up costing me $500. Wow! Never again will I be that stupid. No wait, a 10 minute visit to the doctors to tell me he has no clue with what's wrong with my rashy, itchy skin that cost a freaking new car!!! I guess that's how doctors make so much money. They only know so much, but hey, still decide to chew your wallet up if you ask them to diagnose the things they don't know about. Can't expect everyone to be perfect. My poor experience. Other than that... I always stay away from the doctors. Got the cold? Puking? Diarrhea? Chopped your hand off? My tip? Over the counter pills, water, tissue box, bed, and some porridge will do you good. I honestly believe if you allow your immune system to battle and not allow it to remain lazy, use it. It'll do you good in the future. But I'm not a doctor... and I don't recommend you follow these directions if you actually need medical attention. The best general practitioner I have had. I am very critical when it comes to professional services. Since I am a highly skilled engineer in my field, I understand the ratio of people that gets by as a professional vs a true professional that knows their job. Everyone has their specialized area of expertise and Mill Creek Family practice has the best general care office for an adult male that I have been to. (I can't speak without experience on women and children) For example: Dr. Pinczower - Best ENT Dr. Bonvallet - Best Sleep Disorder Dr. Herron - Best Male Adult General physician Very easy to talk to and friendly. Quick and intelligent. What else do you need from your doc?! I like that I can make an appointment and have any issues I have resolved quickly and easily without issues. Even when I can't describe or talk the doctor talk to help myself! They also have an on site lab and pharmacy so it is really convenient when you need to get EVERYTHING done or need to investigate. The lab has always been very good and amazing when it comes to blood draw or anything else. My husband and I have been coming to this practice for a few years now and have always had good experiences, besides the wait time. We always come early to our appointments but end up having to wait a long time to be seen by the doctor. The nurse will call us back a little after our appointment time but we will on average sit in the room for at least 30 minutes before the doctor comes in. They need to be more considerate of their patients time. I understand things come up and can make their schedule run behind, but to have this happen every single visit it ridiculous. read more

I have been taking my 3 year old daughter to MCFP since she was born. I can't say enough good things about the excellent care Dr. Herron has provided over the three years. We have easily seen Dr. Herron over two dozen times, as well as all of the other doctors on occasion as well. When my daughter was diagnosed with C. Difficile at 10 months, Dr. Herron went above and beyond to coordinate her care with Seattle Children's and even called us on a Sunday a couple of days later to check on her progress. Then when I had a (completely unjustified, stressed out new mother) panic that she had C. Difficile again about 6 weeks later, they rushed lab tests through to make sure she just had a run of the mill intestinal bug. I have brought my daughter in with everything from newborn care questions to some nasty coughs and bugs, and Dr. Herron has given her the best care every single time. read more

I am absolutely appalled at the treatment from Mill creek family practice office staff after being a patient for 15 years. I am going through a financial hardship and owed them 50$ I called and told them about this after they sent me a letter that I was in collections. They agreed to let me make payments which sounded fair to me and said I was not in collections yet I just could not make appointment until it was paid. That is rediciouls I have have had much larger outstanding bills than $50 here!!! However i understand that the balance needs to be paid off. So i called to see if they could refill my percription without coming in and I have 3 more days till payday and was told NO because I have called and reported my percription stolen 9 times and owe money towards my bill. WHAaaaat!!!! I was in shock and asked them if they were speaking to the right person. The lady was so rude who was doing the correspondence for the doctors that I never want to go back there again. That's defimation of character and I feel embarrassed for them if thats the way they treat patients!! They need to start having more empathy and talking to patients using correct factual informaion bec they have no idea who they are talking to on the other line. If I ever saw that women I spoke to on the phone I would go tell her to work at the king county correction facility she would be properly trained for that already. I paid the balance off and demanded an apology for the clinic. Britney Armstrong is the worst. No compassion, no concern for patients at all. They have ZERO experience with mental health issues, so don't waste your time there for that. She also made accusations that constitute defamation but I don't have the time or energy to waste on her. I hope others will not spend their time and over $300+ for a fifteen minute lecture from an ignorant person working at this low-brow place. This review is for the front of house. Something has to change or the doctors and other staff who are great will be paying the price when customers and patients are lost. I do not tolerate taking off of work to have my appointment lost and to wait 45 mins. I have also been refused service by front of house for other various "mix ups" two other times and when ordering shot records and picking up, to return home to find it's the record for the last shot only. This is something that seriously needs to be addressed or you will not be in business much longer. I am very disappointed with my overall care at Mill Creek family practice for a few different reasons: Care: My Dr. was Dr. Anderson, I thought he was nice and polite but that kindness was put to the test when I came in with a rash that progressively got worse. His diagnose was that I had "scabies" I can't even begin to tell you how scared I was. I had a 4month old baby and I was also pregnant. He prescribed an ointment to put on baby, husband and I and recommended we wash our sheets. He diagnosed me by giving me a quick skin test that he looked under a microscope but was unable to be clear if it was or not but he said by looking at it he said "he was sure it was". I told him I'd like a referral to a dermatologist just to be sure (I couldn't believe it, especially if he was just guessing) and he gave me one referral, I called they didn't have an appointment for 3months out. I treated my kids and my husband and I just to be precaution in case it was scabies. I ended up going to urgent care because it got worse this is the first time I saw a provider after my visit with Dr. Anderson, the nurse who saw me at urgent care said it was definitely not scabies! Then later that week I started bruising and I had difficulties breathing I was still scared it was scabies, I went to the emergency room where they also saw me and said this was also definitely not scabies. The two doctors who saw me at urgent care and the emergency room gave me a referral to see a dermatologist at Evergreen. I was happy to finally see a dermatologist just to confirm it was something else other than scabies. The dermatologist also said it was not scabies but thought it was the PUPPS, she didn't want to diagnose me until I had talked to my midwife to make sure it was PUPPS, then later that week my midwife confirmed it was not scabies or PUPPS, but stress!! Because of Dr. Anderson's misdiagnose I ended up doing a run around!! Two months later when I received the bill I went to Dr. Anderson's office and spoke to the financial department I look I asked them if they could please waive the bill where he diagnosed me with scabies, the financial department said they would talk to Dr. Anderson and get back to me. The financial department ended up contacting me and refunded my money, but a few days later I got a letter from Dr. Anderson's office saying that because I "didn't believe what he had diagnosed me with" he was no longer going to be my doctor or my family's doctor, I was so angry and frustrated that even though I had seen so many doctors who said it was not scabies he still cannot admit he misdiagnosed me!! I was so upset I started to cry at home because I was at that time about 4 months pregnant and going through so much stress at work and all the effect was causing my body that I couldn't believe he had drop me as a patient, this is the time I needed a doctor the most. I was left without a doctor during the hardest time of my pregnancy. The second reason why I would not recommend Mill Creek family practice is because of the billing department. I've been receiving bills from them and my insurance did not appear in my husband's billing or sometimes his insurance wouldn't appear in the billing. I've called many times with different invoices to let them know to please add the insurance properly. Their response was I needed to contact my insurance first to see if they would pay the bill, I told them they needed to call the insurance not me but instead of arguing with them I called my insurance, who ended up telling me that the medical Financial department was the one who needed to contact my insurance. when I call them back I told him my insurance said that you need to contact them their response was "I don't know why but OK we will call" really you don't know why?!! Maybe because you're the financial department and you're trying to bill me and my insurance. Anyway I don't recommend this place I'm very disappointed I can't say anything about the other doctors this is just strictly with my care with Dr. Anderson and the billing department. read more
