Not only she fabulous at everything she does, she listens and is honest with you and won't give you false expectations. Love how my perm turned out, I've always wanted to try curly hair and I'm so glad I did. My stylist Justine was fun and professional and quick (well, as quick as you can be rolling little bits of hair one by one haha). She was also very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and gave me good advice on how to take care of my hair after. The salon itself was very lovely, bright and clean and comfortable. I'm liking the samples Justine gave me as well, they seem to be working really well for my hair and I might want to buy more once I run out. read more

Was quoted one price that was almost $100 MORE then what I was charged in the end. That was not impressing and I would have never booked with u guys had I know how much it would have been charged for a cut and going from virgin hair (around level 7) to platinum. I've gone to some high end places but never have I had this massive of a gouge in price. Especially afterwards being told that they charge per hour which explains why she chose a lower volume developer taking longer to do. The worst part is that with my asymmetrical bob the one half that is longer didn't fully lighten and is left a bit yellow that the toner didn't completely get rid of nor is my purple shampoo. Stylist was great. She did do an amazing cut. But I cannot full blame her for the colour as the light inside is a heavy yellow/orange in the shop is horrendous especially for lightening hair read more

I have been to other popular salons and have had hair done by their most experienced stylists: my hair costs were always around 145 even with additional treatments like hair cutting and styling. read more

I went with Michelle, a junior stylist, and she did a great job. She's a very nice woman, and the prices were more reasonable because she's just learning the ropes. She gave me a great cut, and I left feeling good about the haircut. Go Michelle!!!! read more

My boyfriend came here for a haircut and I came along. The decor is really nice, with high ceilings, and the hair dressers are all quite personable. My boyfriend hasn't had a decent haircut in the whole time I've known him, because he has super curly hair. The hairdresser that he had was great though. He looked pretty good at the end of it, and the prices were much better than nearby Kick Salon. I'll be coming here next time for myself. read more

I could not let 2018 start without posting this review because it has been hanging over my head for months! This review is about a cut and color I received from master stylist and owner, Radi Jaber. After several recommendations I set up a consultation with Radi to talk about a suitsble cut for my fine hair. He assured me that he had much experience working with thin hair. He told me a close family member of his has thinner hair than mine and that over the years he has successfully cut and coloured her hair to give the illusion of "volume" Radi totally sold me on his skills and abilities and I was excited! I brought along pictures of various cuts including a recent picture that was taken showing the back of my hair. Radi reassured me that we would not want to take very much length off the back of my hair because of the need for coverage. I was so relieved because this was where I needed a lot of expertise! I was starting a new chapter in my life and was just a week away from a dream trip to Europe! What happened next was a nightmare! I ended up with an all over colour that was too dark and highlights that were not subtle as promised and consequently in trying to cover his mistake, Radi cut out all the highlights at the back of my head leaving me almost bald! Skilled at his craft, he used enough power from his blow dryer and enough product to cover the holes he left on the back of my head. It wasn't until I washed my hair and looked that I saw the scope of the mess he left me with! I cried for an entire day. I went and bought a wig. I called and made an appointment to see Radi. He refused to take ownership of his mistake although he did say he would like the opportunity to "fix" my hair which in itself was an admission of guilt. There was nothing to fix! He couldn't grow my hair back and cover the two bald spots on the back of my head! He offered a "bleach rinse" to lighten the overall colour or to "buzz" my hair completely!! Seriously!! I could have paid a barber $10 to do that! The bleach rinse was a terrible idea given my head already looked like I had been the victim of chemical warfare! He charged me $235 for the cut and colour and explained that he was giving me a discount for the highlights because he ended up not putting very many highlights in!! That was a lie... I was there! He put a bunch of highlighted foils in the back of my head and then cut them all out!! And then covered up his mistake. I told him that I thought a refund was in order. He was very arrogant stating he does not give refunds and stands behind his work. I couldn't believe it!!! I was shocked! I said to him "you mean you are not going to own any part of this??" He said NO! Sadly he didn't offer me anything in compensation. He could have offered a credit with another stylist or a credit for product but he offered nothing! He actually said to me "do you know how embarrassing it is for you to come here and question me, a master stylist?" I later thought I should have responded by saying "do you know how embarrassing it is to be walking around almost bald!" The whole thing left me in a terrible state.. I wore a wig for 3 months - every single person in my life who saw what he did was mortified for me and could not believe that he didn't own up to his mistake. The most skilled artists, tradespeople, business people, make mistakes... we are human. My rating for this salon is based on the fact that I was charged $235 (a discounted price) for a horrible hair cut and color, but mostly because the owner of that salon was too proud to admit his failing. That does not sit right with me and I thought I owed it to other women who take time to do their homework, my experience at this salon. I have pictures that I wanted to post but have no idea how to post them! This is my first time doing an online rating and believe me, I am not doing this out of spite. I've gone to this salon a few times and, unfortunately, I've been let down the last 4 times in a row after spending 500+. I'll try to keep this short. Went in to get my hair dyed, asked about colours that wouldn't wash me out because I'm very fair and, in the end, it did completely. I hated the work, called in 2-3 weeks later and was quoted 60 to have it toned. Ended up being charged an additional 40 for a "styling" charge aka to have my hair straightened before I left. Spent an additional 70 on a large bottle of conditioner but no dispensers were available. Was told I would be put on a waitlist and was reassured multiple times (after I called in a month later wondering) that they would call me when they arrived. FOUR MONTHS LATER I stopped in and they told me I was lucky because it was their last one. No one bothered to contact me. I also called in and asked if I could book a time to get my bangs trimmed and was told to come in whenever. Was charged 21 dollars to sit in a chair for less than five minutes and was told bang trims are only free when you book with the last person you got your hair cut by.. yet the last time I had gone in for a bang trim, the girl who trimmed them was not my usual stylist and it was free. Unbelievably inconsistent. I have only gone to salons like this for 10+ years out of fear of botched jobs from lower quality places and have not minded paying more to keep my sanity yet never have I ever felt so ripped off. The last thing I'll mention is that I still hate my hair nearly five months and 500 dollars later and will be going elsewhere to fix it. Please don't make the same mistake I did by giving them another chance! read more

I was charged $147.00 to have the white roots of my hair turned a blue/gray color. Thank God for Bumble and Bumble color spray that can cover the horrible color until my regular stylist comes back to Edmonton in May. I did ask for a refund, but was told that I would have to return to the Salon for the owner to see my hair within 7 days, but he isn't there next week so I would have to wash my already dried out hair again as he needs to "see" the blue/grey roots. Other stylists saw it, the stylist who did it saw my hair and offered to redo it on the same day which isn't good for your hair at all. She wasn't even sure what went wrong. I am not returning, and I thank God for color spray so I can go to my son's birthday celebration without light blue/grey inch long roots today. My hair usually looks like the picture on my FB. Actually Trinity had just done my hair that day......no blue roots there. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS SALON!!!!!!!! read more
