Volvo Poole have let us down badly.
There is a serious design fault with our New XC90 tailgate which has caused £4K of damage likely caused by 'a small twig' (their words not ours) and they refuse to take any responsibility.
We have asked for answers as to how this can happen to a £53k car and all we get is that 'this is not a manufacturing or material defect' and so is not under warranty. They have also told us that it could quite possibly happen again. Are we really to accept this dispicable lack of accountability?
We are not surprisingly shocked and whilst usually philosophical about these kind of issues, are taking this on. No customer should expect such appalling lack of accountability.
