    Wish I had read the reviews before as I thought they were a kosher company. They missold an item…read more(pure misrepresentation) - much older than the one agreed with more mileage and when it arrived it was also faulty. They seem to think misrepresentation and selling faulty items is OK - we shall see as they will be taken to the Ombudsmen as they are clearly rip off merchants. Also being reported to Trading Standards. Can't even be bothered to reply - what a poor company. This 'family business' has lost all direction. I wonder what Mr Trent would say were he still with us next year in their centenary year.

    Went to Trent Poole on 19/02/2022, to have the wheel alignment done…read more I asked how much it was going to cost for front and rear alignment, and the girl behind the counter (Lucy) told me it was going to cost £60. All good. Technician came and moved the car in the workshop, and returned 20-25 minutes later, handed her the key and some paperwork and I went to her desk to pay. She said that the rear alignment couldn't be done due to seized bolt. Had no problem with that as obviously it is not a new car, therefore it may happen. I asked her what were my options to get it sorted and she replied on a irate voice " I don't know, you'll have to see a mechanic". She then pushed the bank card reader and said... "60". I tried to explain to her it was not fair to pay for something that was not done and I would like to pay for what was done, front alignment only. She then replied "I told you it was going to cost £60". Long story short, I asked to see a supervisor or manager and she initially refused justifying her decision "they wouldn't be able to help, and they will agree with her". Her colleague, who was next to her desk, agreed with me, saying that it was only fair to pay for front alignment only. Even more aggressive now, she called for a manager, who of course agreed with me and asked her to charge me £35 for front alignment only. Her only reaction was "OK". Pushed again the bank card reader, this time saying "£35". Paid the £35 and asked her to apologise, but she refused on a raised voice. Charles Trent...how do you employ such staff?
