It doesn't have a ton of variety (or at least not as much as a typical liquor store) but it does have the essentials (grey goose lol). It is an older store, smells like an older store and definitely lacks some cleanliness. Again, this is more a place of convenience than anything else. I have gone here a few times and those that work here are totally fine and do what they need to do to get the job done. I would never go out of my way to go to this liquor store but again, it works for the convenience factor!

It's an independent liquor store (a nice feature in today's Big Box retail world). Cedar Liquor is conveniently located at the corner of Cedar Ave & Old Shakopee Rd. (in "east" Bloomington). You can even park right at their front door - how convenient! They've been in business since the late-1960s. So, whether I'm buying the occasional expensive bottle of Scotch or an inexpensive 6-pack of Hamm's, I enjoy going to Cedar Liquor!

She then turns to my wife (who is not paying) and asks for hers. My wife said she didn't have it on her. "Angie" right away told her she needs to go to the corner and should not be here. I was angry cause there's a way to talk to someone when these things happen. My wife and I are both 24, and I understand following rules. However, tone in a customer service place is incredibly important. She was demeaning and made my wife feel like she genuinely did something wrong. It left a very sour taste in our mouths. She could have politely asked or have a more sincere tone. It sucks to be treated poorly when you are a paying customer.
