This clothing boutique is definitely filled to the brim with gorgeous and cute everyday to more business/formal wear kind of clothing in addition to wigs and other hair accessories. 75% of the store is clothing though with the back 25% past the fitting rooms reserved for hair goodies. There were so many wonderful pieces that I tried on here. Unfortunately, their sizing only goes up to XL and sometimes only L and I'm right at the edge of that, so some pieces fit, while many I wanted to try on I needed just another size up. Customer service was so lovely. The woman who was running the shop was shuttling clothes that I had pulled off the rack into my fitting room throughout my shop and was just so friendly and exuberant, while also giving me the space to shop and peruse at my own pace. I ended up getting a staple kind of black/gray denim button up shirt that will be great for the fall and spring weather and for layering throughout the colder months! I also got two sweaters that had a fun corgi print on them to gift to my corgi-loving friends! The pricing was reasonable here compared to what I normally associate with boutiques as well (these sweaters/denim jackets all averaged in the $40-50 range), so I really appreciated that. You'll get coupons when you make purchases here as well, so make sure to do that! Really loved this spot!

The jewelry is a lot of fun, and they also carry OPI nail polish. I was able to buy Golden Girls earrings...how awesome is that? Staff is super friendly. They also have wigs and extension available. I go to Charity, who has a chair in the back of the store. She does an awesome job on hair, and shes a delight to talk to. Whenever I go get my hair done I come a little early so I can shop at LBL. :)

Michelle refunded the $17.99 for the tray, but refused to refund the $8.99 shipping charges--"hope you understand" were her words. I do not understand as it was someone in her shop who carelessly packaged the tray in a flimsy bag. I will not be ordering from her ever again.

However, the prices are definitely higher than standard thrift store prices. Long Version: This is like the higher-scale version of a thrift store. While I love shopping at thrift stores and picking up items for less than a dollar, it really does require some digging to find things that are in good shape and are something that I really want to purchase. I'm glad that most thrift stores carry the lower-quality items because everybody has their own budget and price range, but I'm looking for second-hand things that don't look so...secondhand. That's where The Main Street Exchange comes in. They are like a high-end thrift store. All of the pieces are sorted through when they accept them, and it looks like they're choosey about what items come into the shop. The clothing all appeared to be in good condition, and the furniture, DVDs, and books all seemed like they were still in "Good" to "Very Good" condition. While typical thrift stores may have dusty, dirty, or broken items, everything seemed to be well-cleaned and in very good shape here. However, along with that comes higher prices. You'll be more likely to find something you actually want to buy (versus a thrift store), but you might have to pay a bit more for the convenience. Nothing seemed insanely unreasonably priced, though, but I'll admit I didn't pay much attention to the clothing. This store sells a good range of things. They have a lot of clothing, and that makes up the bulk of their items, but they also have a book section with adult and children's books. They also have dinnerware and other knick knacks. Downstairs, you'll find some furniture and children's toys. Some of the furniture is on the affordable side ($10 for end tables and whatnot) while the larger pieces definitely cost more ($120-ish for a large wood dresser). I came out with 5 books in really good condition for slightly over $4. Most of the books were priced at 99 cents or 1.99. DVDs were priced around $1.99 to $2.99. Staff was pretty friendly. They were cleaning and putting away things when I came, but when I asked where to check out, one of the employees was happy to point me to where. She even mentioned their current promotion in case I wanted to go get another book for just a penny. I passed, but it was nice of her to let me know that. As a sidenote, there does seem to be a Christian, religious theme going on in this store. There's even a Christian quote printed on the receipt I received. It's nothing that's going to annoy a non-religious person, but there are religious items and books for sale alongside the regular items.

After waiting for 20 minutes, I decided to go in and grab them. Once entering the store, I was met by a very inconsiderate front end team that are more worried about looking cool in front of their coworkers that doing their job. Whoever is in charge of payroll should be made well aware that they are paying for at minimum 3 team members being less than helpful, not even willing to speak to their customer about the poor experience and 7 others hovering around their cash register. Also the staff was exceptionally nice to all guest. I think the best was when I was standing there a guest had said thank you to a manager he really didn't hear it and another member of the staff goes hey she said thank you and he stopped turned around and said I'm sorry I didn't hear that and said your welcome and have a great holiday. This store seemed to really understand the guest and ensure they felt welcome.

I find some great deals on clearance (bought 97 cent clearance boxers for my 11 year old today). I recommend trying on clothes before leaving the store because I find they typically run small. Like most stores they lack staff so you get very little interaction while shopping. But I'm not typically one to need help. Just noting that during my visit tonight no one offered any greeting or assistance while I shopped with my boys. The associate at the register was very friendly and efficient. I was overall satisfied with my visit and what I purchased.

They had plenty of staff on hand. And for 8 pm at night the store displays looked nice and organized. I was offered help several times. I ended up getting all my kids school clothes. Two pairs of shoes for each kid, underwear, socks, jeans, sweatshirts, pajamas and even a disco light. I had two carts full. Was scared the girl at the register would groan with disgust at all my stuff but she was chipper and enjoyed the challenge. Another employee came over and even helped bag. Another employee went and did a sku check when a shirt was missing a tag. I spent $1100 and had a coupon and a 20% off coupon. So my total was $870. I got $170 in kohls cash to spend next time. The service was there tonight and the employees were in good spirit.
