She came back this weekend - drove 5 hours- specifically for this appt. We get here and are told the appt is cancelled. We asked who cancelled it and they said they did. (It would be different if this hadnt happened before. But we have had so many precious scheduling issues). I tell the young lady who came out initially that I wanted to talk with the manger. And that's when Lindsay came out. As she approached our car - I knew it wouldn't go well as she began talking to me as though I was a child and pretending she had no idea why we were upset. She insisted they made a phone call to let us know and I told her that neither I nor my daughter got a call or a text. Did she really think she would have driven all this way if she didn't have an appt? Did she think we just drove up to their office for giggles? Really? Then she said "you do realize we are in a pandemic right?" Ummm. Yes- thank you for patronizing me. And then she says "so you want me to see her today in front of al these other patients who have appts?" WHAT? She DID have an appt!! I managed a practice for over 13 years- and I have to say Lindsay sucks at making a bad situation better. Managers have to be able to apologize (which she didn't) and diffuse a heated situation. She is very condescending and basically said it was our own fault for being there. We will be finding another orthodontist. I like Dr K- and the ladies in the back- but her administrative staff sucks.

Dr. K is an amazing orthodontist. I was having jaw issues so badly that I was having to get pain…read morerelief shots from the hospital just to go about my day. They are all gone now! However, the scheduling and most of the staff are awful. They often messed up scheduling and didn't even put me in the system. Sometimes, they would reschedule my appointment without ever getting confirmation from me. (I never received a phone call from them even though they claimed to have called us. They should have confirmed before even cancelling though because I obviously didn't get it.) Most of the staff is incredibly rude, especially the manager, when you tell them they have made a mistake. I lived across the country when I first started going to Dr. K. My parents live here so my insurance was accepted by Dr. K. So I would fly all the way from Los Angeles to see Dr. K just to have them tell me they cancelled my appointment. Then I moved to Dallas, and I would drive all the way from Dallas for my appointment just to have them tell me AGAIN that they had cancelled my appointment without ever talking to me. Suffice to say, I'm glad I'm basically done with my orthodontist work because I will never come back. I will never recommend this office to anyone else which is kind of sad because Dr. K is a great orthodontist.

The people that work there have such warm and kind hearts and seem to really love what they do. The space brought about a certain ambience that is untouched. Everyone was always in a good mood, the music was branded toward a welcoming and fun environment, and the service was always impeccable. If I ever needed to come in last minute for an appointment, they made it work! Their work ethic was like clockwork! So smooth every visit, follow-up, and appointment scheduled and not one slip up. I will definitely miss going for appointments but happy to have my braces off, haha. Oh, and I love my teeth! They came out better than I could imagine.
