I am in college for dental hygiene & i've seen many hygienist with their wisdom teeth turned into…read morenecklaces. I told them to keep them & i was not given them. this caused me to have a HORRIBLE experience. from the beginning, i was treated oddly. nothing was explained & i was very nervous. i've never had any surgery. the surgeon came in the room the morning of my surgery and was in an OBVIOUS bad mood. he was treating everyone poorly and bluntly ignored me, regardless of my obvious anxiety. i wasn't given any warning, i was just knocked out while trying to ask questions. i woke up and even though i was very loopy, i requested my teeth once again. they told me no (even though i reminded them i wanted them right before my 12 minute surgery, how do you forget?) she said they were already in biohazard. i immediately started sobbing. i would have normally been upset but with the anesthesia it was horrible for me and everyone else around me, i got in the car with my parents and was hysterical. my stepdad went back in the office as soon as i came out and requested my teeth and they wouldn't give them to him either. i cried for 4 hours over it until i fell asleep at home, i was in horrible pain. i couldn't keep the gauze in my mouth because i was crying so hard. i called 5 or 6 days later thinking i had dry socket. i was basically told "oh well" and they can't do anything and i couldn't have dry socket that fast. i knew something was wrong but they wouldn't even consider making an appointment. i went to someone else and i did have dry socket. please avoid this place if you have ANY choice at all. do not allow them to operate on you for anything. i will never get my teeth back and they were very rude about it, even thought i expressed why and how important it was to me. hunter was a good nurse and he's the only good thing about this place. he was the only one who even spoke to me in a professional manner. the surgeon and the front office workers are nightmares. they delete the bad reviews if you pay attention. look on yelp at hidden reviews to find nightmares of people with dry socket not getting help and a girl who's jaw was broken during her surgery.
