I started shopping here when I got my medical MJ card and I am so glad they are in the neighborhood! They have such a variety of pieces that there's nothing lacking in selection. The shop owner was extremely helpful when I came in to get my first piece and I settled on a lovely lil bubbler that I adore :) I'm giving this place 5 stars because I had an allergic reaction to a bath product they carried. I called the store and asked if I could return it for store credit. The employee said no, so I shot the store a Facebook message just letting them know that I'd had an allergic reaction to the product in case it happens to other customers. Someone responded within minutes and the store called me back before I even saw the Facebook message- they said they would gladly give me store credit. As a prior retail manager, I know it's difficult balancing between being profitable and letting customers get away with murder when it comes to returns. I appreciated that they took me seriously and were willing to take the product back for store credit. If you're in hampden, definitely check this spot out! Even if you don't smoke, the glassware is gorgeous and a lot of it is bought within the USA. read more

Let's not pretend OK. Even though at this moment in time Yelp thinks they sell tobacco here, this is a place that sells the stuff you need if you'd like to smoke some pot. And while the sale, possession and use of marijuana is still illegal in the state of Maryland, the stuff they sell here is not illegal. But you wouldn't know it from shopping here. At Voodoo Glass they treat all their customers like criminals. First, the front door is locked and you must be buzzed in to the place. The lone bored clerk never looks up from her Kindle to ask if you need help. The walls are lined with brand name glassware. Some of these bongs are so complicated that you must either be currently enrolled in college or a recent grad to understand their operation. A display case at the rear of the store holds glass pipes and extends all the way to the floor. You are expected to get down on your hands and knees to inspect their selection. Not a lot of vaporizers to choose from. This joint (pardon the pun) will harsh your mellow. read more

I made a call to see if these guys had the glass that I was looking for. It was extremely difficult to find when I called other shops. The lady working there that was on the phone with me was nice and helpful to see if they had it. They did have it so I came in and it only took 5 minutes and I was out. Same day! Seems like a really cool place. I bought my pax two here, and with their rewards program, I got a $25 store credit. That kind of made it cost less than did on the website. I used it to buy a really cute little pipe with a frog on it for my mom's birthday. They didn't have gift wrapping, but it was slow that day, so the girl behind the counter offered to draw something personalized on the bag for my mom. Nice touch. She's very talented. I came into the store looking to buy a new twisty 7-pipe that I had heard so much about. I called in advance and she told me there was one left. I went on my lunch break around 2:30pm on April 19, 2017. (In case managements wants to see who was working that day) I came in and was immediately asked to see my ID. I look very young, but it was the first thing she said to me as I walked in. Seeing the time of day it was,high schools had not even gotten out yet so the possibility of being underage was slim. I showed her my ID and was showed the merchandise. I was on the phone with my girlfriend at the time. She wanted to see the merchanise before I purchased it. I facetime called her. The lady working that day let me get on facetime and show my girlfriend the twisty before getting an attitude with me. I was the only person in the store so she heard me talking about getting on facetime. She told me I couldn't take pictures or facetime due to the selling of items to underage individuals. It wasn't what she said, but how she said it. She was rude and her tone was ill-mannered. My girlfriend asked if I was still going to buy it since she could hear her tone through the phone. I said no and walked out in disgust. I do not know if she acted that way because I was black or becasue I had my hair wrapped like a muslim, but I will never be returning for any business. read more

I never write reviews but felt I needed to. I came here once before. Seemed like a cool shop, a little more expensive than other places I've been to with quality that's just as good, if not better. So I was sorta eh, about the place. Ended up buying a grinder. The guy was very helpful but I ended up liking my cheaper grinder from my place in Fells. Decided to come back last night 12/12 and give the place another try. As I'm about to walk in, I happened to check my watch at 9:01 and noticed on the door it said they close at 9. Seeing as many places in the town were staying open late for the holidays, I figured I'd open the door and ask if they were still open. The long "ummmmm" that came from the female employee as she rolled her eyes while helping her last customer answered my question before she even gave me an answer. After standing there like an idiot waiting for a reply, I answered the question for her, and kindly said, "it's ok I can come back tomorrow, thanks" Then came the reluctant "you guys can come in I guessss". While again, giving her customer a disgruntled look. Why would I want to spend my money in a place with such great customer service like that? I would have rather just gotten a flat "no, I'm sorry we are closed", than making me feel like a burden for asking if you were still open. I'll just take my long list of gifts I wanted to get for my friends there to my cheaper, better place with more of a selection and MUCH friendlier staff with an awesome cat in Fells.
