Wanted the midnight slice but wasn't here at midnight so of course I settled for something different. A lovely special of Dusty Springfield. Not a folding pizza as its a more sturdy pizza than you get in NYC and not like italian ones. But I like it Because it has huge by the slice pizzas which make it much different to any other pizzeria.

I'll admit - I've had better pizza. The crust could be puffier and they could be a bit more generous with the cheese. But the toppings are interesting and there is something for everyone - there's even the Queen Vegan (Napoli sauce, fresh tomatos, mushrooms, artichoke, red onions, jalapenos and herb gremolata). My personal favourite is the Buffalo Margherita (buffalo mozzarella, marinated tomatos, tomato sauce and basil ). Prices are good too, starting at only £3.30 for a Regular Slice (fior de latte mozzarella, Napoli tomato sauce and oregano).

With a slew of good Italian style pizza joints in Shoreditch (Pizza East, Amici Mei, Rosso Pomodoro), Voodoo Ray's fits just right in. It serves New York style thin crust pizzas with toppings that are quite different from what the others have to offer. It is also the only place in Shoreditch that does pizza by the slice. But I don't think that's really important in the larger scheme of things. What is important though is that they make a good pizza--nice thin crust--and the toppings are those that are typically found on the otherside of the pond--salt beef and saurkraut (Rubin), pepporoni, etc. I think one slice would just about make you feel satisfied, but if you really want to be happy, get at least two. We ordered the cumberland sausage, buffalo margerita, artichokes & olives, & the rubinesque. None disappointed. All in all, good fun.

"Oh my god you MUST try Voodoo Ray's" Victoria said. "It's AMAZING" she said.. ... Well Victoria my friend, you were absolutely right. I have to admit I was apprehensive, being completely spoiled for choice for amazing pizza in Brighton. I was concerned that nothing would come close to the sourdough goodness that you get at Pizza VIP, but Voodoo Ray's is excellent! They appear to have a choice of around 8 or 9 MASSIVE pizzas to choose from, you can either buy it by the slice or buy a whole one. I think they were 22"!? Anyway, I opted for a slice of the King Tubby ((fennel & chilli sausage, covalo nero, marinated tomatoes, caramelised onions) which my friend highly recommended. I'm not one for sausage on pizza usually, but GIRL!!! This was the ONE!! Fennel and sausage just works so well! The toppings were generous, it came piping hot and was the perfect serving size, I was comfortably full. I'll definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Amazing pizza with anything you could imagine, yet a bit expensive for what you get. Best thing is that it's open till late, and we all know there is nothing better than greasy pizza when you're tipsy and hungry in Shoreditch ;)

    The amazing vegan queen!

This place has the best vegan pizza in London! The staff was already super nice at Dalston and they're just as nice here! It's a mild evening so we decided to sit outside. I'll definitely come back very soon.

They didn't know about the Yelp offer at all but it worked anyways. Pizza was cold by the time I got it from the counter to the table.

They have also recently updated their slice program, every 8th pizza free.

We're from the States and had just arrived from the airport with our 3-year-old daughter, looking for a quick bite to eat before settling in. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. Our server was fantastic, and Flavia truly went above and beyond. She happened to bring out our food and immediately connected with our daughter, Emma. She was so warm, engaging, and kind that Emma talked about her for the rest of our trip. At the end of the night, the staff started singing "Happy Birthday" to Flavia, and Emma happily joined in. Flavia made Emma feel welcomed not just to the restaurant, but to London itself. To top it off, Flavia even brought Emma ice cream to help celebrate. That level of hospitality and genuine kindness is something special and honestly something we rarely experience back home in the States. Although we didn't get the chance to visit again during our trip, Emma will never forget her first restaurant experience in London thanks to Flavia. Thank you for such an unforgettable memory!

Coming from NYC I didn't know what to expect when it came to pizza in London, but this pizza def met my expectations. The truffle looked scooped on so I spread it throughout the pizza so it was on every bite and added some salt. The pizza is thin enough for one person to eat. At least I ate the entire thing! lol Very good! Next time ill come with other people so I can try the other recommendations like the pork belly and a few other things that were pointed out to me. :)

Average noise level during lunch time. We ordered: MEATBALLS CALAMARI BLACK TRUFFLE & MUSHROOM PIZZA AGNOLOTTI DEL PLIN PASTA TIRAMISU the food were good but not outstanding. My pasta was just slightly warm - wished they served it hot. Service was good and fast. Friendly waiters. COST $75 USD/ £55 SERVICE Excellent service, seated immediately FOOD Their pasta was mediocre, but their salmon and steak was delicious! We had a large party so there was a piece of salmon for each person. When it came to the steak, it was the most tender and perfectly salted, but everyone could only get 1-2 pieces for there to be enough for everyone. DESSERT The vanilla cream puff was refreshing and we each got our own tiramisu square. I really enjoyed the cheesecake as well (which was also shared). DRINKS Their hot cocoa was decent, nice to have it with your dessert. OVERALL Enjoyed my time here but don't think the $75 price tag was worth it given how little salmon and steak as the main entree you were given. It was also weird to me that we were given 1 slice of cheesecake for like 4-6 people when they should've just cut them into smaller cubes and individually served everyone. Everyone was breaking this one slide with their own spoon which didn't feel classy at all.
