Prior to enrolling I specifically asked if they had capable staff at this location because the prior tutoring center (not Mathnasium) resorted to AI and still couldn't explain work to my child. I was assured they had staff capable of tutoring in subject needed. During her first tutoring session, tutor asked two other staff members if they could assist with my child's work, they could not. They resorted to AI and could not explain the concept. I emailed to cancel enrollment and requested refund after the first session as they did not provide the services I paid to receive. I received a call offering me to go to their woodlands location (which I can not get to during times they are open). I informed I couldn't make it to that location. They stated they let go of person and offered to return since I had paid April's tuition. I returned - same scenario happened. I emailed again, and received email response that they can offer tutoring not a refund. But they obviously cannot offer tutoring as they are using AI and can't even manage to use the AI as a resource to explain to their students. avoid this place!!! I paid $199 enrollment fee + $249 for one month!!! And they didn't even provide services enrolled for!!

His teacher is so well loved by the kids - how she copes with them all is beyond me. Meals are cooked on the premises and it's always healthy, no junk food here. Kids also don't get candy/sweets for treats - so that is also a plus. Large area outside with very tall fencing and everything also watched by video camera - with of course teachers always present. Splash day once a week during summer which the kids love and Friday afternoon is movie time and also the only day they can take one toy to school. Owners are excellent and always on site and always available if you need to chat with them. So all in all an excellent place - very safe and also very good teaching for your kids.

Ms. Cher, Mr. Mel, and the caring staff have created a special environment for children. As a parent, your primary consideration is safety, and that was something we never worried about. But the thing we'll remember most about JOY is the smile on the kids' faces everyday as we picked them up, and the noticeable growth in their little souls. The 5-yo has learned about friendship, working with others, and has even learned to read at JOY. I'm biased to think she's a bit ahead of the curve, but it's amazing how many of the kids at JOY are that way. It's not enough for the people at JOY to just look after these kids, they are driven to see them grow. That's what makes this place special. For parents out there in the Jersey Village / Cyfair area, I can't be more confident in saying that at JOY your child will be cared for, helped, and loved.

My son has been here over 3 years since it opened and he loves it! Miss Patty and Miss Ada along with Jenny the owner are always on site and we look forward to seeing their smiling faces every day! Aaron is now in the pre k class and he still gets to see Miss Tabitha his teacher in the wee early mornings (6:30am) before he gets to learn with Miss Laura. Miss Tabitha has been there three years and she gives Aaron a hug every morning. My son is a difficult child and has been a handful for those ladies but they keep smiling and staying positive. The same way I describe Family, is how I describe the Owner and Staff at London Bridge. I cannot express how important a statement that is for me to make as I do not make it lightly. My son has attended PDC for 3 years as well as attended the summer camps since 2019. PDC provides…read morea safe, small, highly interactive and nurturing environment for all of the children. Our son transitioned to PDC from another school that was not as much of a fit for him. In the 3 years he has been with PDC he has truly blossomed and matured into a very capable and independent teenager. The school operates in a very hands on and interactive way. The children have many opportunities throughout the day to move, exercise and express themselves whether it's through yoga, martial arts, hikes, field trips or gymnastic classes. Education-wise, they have a wonderful staff that truly cares and supports not only the children but their families as well. PDC very much individualizes their curriculum for each child and makes adjustments based on the children's needs and interests. They also very much include attention to life skills such as cooking, cleaning, public speaking and social skills. PDC is a very empowering place for neuro-divergent children. Lastly, the school actively works to keep the tuition very reasonable as most schools of this nature charge you 2 to 3 times more than PDC. I highly recommend this little known diamond in the rough that was founded by two innovative and caring educators who created an affordable and out of the box school for neuro-divergent children.
