I found this store after trying to locate reasonably priced but fairly specific saplings/seedlings/bulbs/seeds online. Time and again, this was the only site that would have exactly what I was looking for and more!
I read their delivery policy and discovered that during the high season it could take up to six weeks to receive my order. I ordered accordingly, and waited.
As the end of the six weeks approached, I got nervous and searched for reviews. Everyone online seemed to be calling it a scam! I finally was notified that my order was ready to ship after I paid for it. This was after the six week date, I'd previously agreed to their terms to pay AFTER receiving my order and not before, and the amount they were requesting was way off from the total I was originally given. I decided not to pay, but to visit the store in person.
The store is cozy and packed to the brim with seeds! I managed to find most of the things in my original order, but some were sold out. They seemed to be very helpful with their clients, very friendly. I enjoyed being in the store and was happy with my purchases. A few weeks later most of my seeds have germinated.
This store reminds me of an old-school seed catalog. It wasn't that long ago that you made plans for your garden seasons ahead, and if you want to order them online you need to do that. If you're feeling spontaneous/left things until the last minute, you're better off going into the store. Yes, other online stores are more organized and consistent, and certainly much faster. But this store offers far better quality and variety, and in my opinion is worth the "hassle" of planning your garden ahead of time. read more
