I don't mind getting a WOF done for my car, and I don't mind paying for it, but what irks me is the inconvenience of the whole matter. If you go on a Saturday to get the inspection, then they can't help you, "too busy", they say... And if you go on a weekday, the auto technician is not in, and again they can't help you.
I'm not much of an appointment making person, I'm more of a pitch up, and get my job done kind of person. So making set times is a drag, but when the WOF has expired, you are left with no choice.
I normally get my WOFs done at the cheapest and most convenient location, so it was out of my comfort zone to take the car to VTNZ, but a few rattles inspired me to get her properly checked out. Boy, was I surprised in how thorough they are, they checked everything. This took longer than normal, but it made me wonder how legal other WOF checks are.
I will in future stay with VTZ to do my checks, at least then I know my life, and that of my family is safe, and secure. read more
