There was no manual review of this check issue or they didn't catch it. 90 minutes of aggravating hassle and waste of my time because their own machine could not read their own check. I am pulling my business. As a customer of 38 years with Bank of America, I am not pleased that a check from them was considered a Counterfeit check. The source was 100% reliable. I deposited this check thru their drive thru ATM and I don't know what happened. I am going to the branch tomorrow to deal with unnecessary unfortunately technological error that BofA does not recognize their own check. I wasted 27 minutes on the phone with zero help regarding this simple check deposit issue and I hope to get a satisfactory resolution. I do appreciate security and safeness of check verification but not if the check in question is their own bank issued check!

Needing a single piece of paper notarized I stopped by the bank only to be told I needed to make an appointment to receive such assistance. The lady who came out from behind a closed door office said I could wait for another employee to come back from lunch and if she didn't have any appointments she might be able to help me. No indication when she would be back from lunch, no offer to check her schedule to see if she had appointments and absolutely no desire to provide any level of customer service. She probably took longer to tell me all of this than it would take to notarize this single piece of paper. Terrible customer service. STAY AWAY if you can help it.
