I've had issues since we started with them. We are paying for 1gb but were getting 100mb through several different routers, Ethernet and WiFi. I specifically asked them to check each section of the cable, including to the fiber modem outside. After several tech visits I went ahead and tested the modem directly to a laptop with a new cable and found great speeds. The problem was the cat5 cable between the router and modem. This should have been a simple thing to find and fix, so I'm really not sure how all the techs managed to miss this. I also suspect that they were disrespectful because were not men, and it really felt like they were gaslighting us during our conversations. read more

Internet cuts out 15-20 times a day. The speed is only about 1/6 of what we pay for. Technicians range from wildly incompetent to average, not leading to much confidence when they come out. I wish I could give them zero stars. They are the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. I was losing internet on a daily basis and decided to switch to another provider. And Vyve double billed me for "early cancellation fees" and I contacted them to get it corrected. They said they would correct the amount due and send me a new invoice. They did correct the amount due, but didn't send me a new invoice. I contacted them a week after they had corrected the balance and asked about a final invoice and discovered that they sent me to a collection agency. Avoid Vyve. Worst company ever. read more

I would give this business a zero rating off possible they raised my monthly rate by 10 bucks a month and only included the notice on the bottom of a bill that I didn't get in the mail. I called to complain about the change and was basicaply told to suck it up. I told them I want the contract to terminate at the end of the contract period and was told it was too far out for them to put in a cancellation order. Basically trapped in the contract or have to pay full price for another year and a half of service to cancel, if you have any other options don't do business with Vyve! read more

When my family first switched from AT&T (because we were being absolutely ripped off and they wouldn't fix the like... 5mb speeds). Vyve came in and swapped out our air cooled lines to ones that can handle high speeds. Since then we have been dealing with random outages in wifi, terrible speeds at random times, and as of recent I can't even launch much on my PC without it losing connection to the internet. We have tried to call and request service for this but not much has came out of it... if anything did at all. I don't even remember anyone coming out with the many calls we have made, though my memory could be failing me. They boast "wall to wall" coverage... But I barely even get that in my quite small house. Their "5G" broadband isn't near as powerful as ANYONE would want it to be with this name. Check your monthly bill. My services were automatically transferred to this company from Frontier. I reviewed my monthly bill and I have been paying $42 per month since September 2023 for cable that I don't have. When calling customer service, they advised me that they have a policy that no statements are adjusted beyond 30 days. I was advised that their policies are available on their website and are published once yearly on a statement which was changed to August this year. Prior to the change, it was printed on their April statement. Considering my services began September 2023 and they changed the month which this policy is posted to August this year, I never received a statement with this policy published nor did I receive these policies when their company took over the internet services. So, beware of fraudulent charges for services you may not be receiving. read more

We really appreciate their services, they have brought in value to our hotel since we switched to them. Compared to our previous provider, they have given us full out AP's that are the highest quality as it can go to provide the best wireless connection to our guest and staff. Anytime we have had issues with our service, they are quick to respond and ensure that our problems are fixed. They are very upfront about the services they provide and the costs so you are aware. They provided fiber optic connection in our area and it is not through a third party company. read more

Single handedly the worst ISP I've ever had the misfortune of using and I've been through my fair share of them. There is no customer service at all what so ever. It's no longer possible to talk to anyone when "office hours" are closed despite their claim of 24/7 Customer Service. It's literally an automated "Customer Service". They input dialogue and the machine spits it out at you then hangs up without any way to even speak to a person or resolve an issue. The only way to get a chance to talk to someone is to go into the store and, sadly, make a scene. I hate doing that as I've actually worked in the Customer Service industry for years. This isn't the way to run a business, I will give them one saving grace and that's that the internet works, when it's on. But one time when I managed to talk to a person (two years ago before the automated service, back in 2020) I asked them to bring up my record for outage numbers in the past Three (3) years and how many times technicians were sent to my house to fix their lines and the number was 56 times. This is almost 2 times per month for 3 Years which is staggering. Do not go with Vyve Broadband. read more

In the 3 years I have had vyve as an internet provider, I have had to deal with sucky internet speeds, random outages, and multiple service requests while paying $100+ a month. I am currently trying to upgrade my internet (only because it is somehow cheaper than what I was paying before) and it's taken two days. The tech has been late both days, and I still somehow have to pay for the installation fee. When you call them to deal with all of these problems, it's all automated, which takes forever, and it's almost impossible to talk to a real person with the options they provide for you. I would not recommend this provider to anyone, and I would love to change providers, but they are the only company that services my area. read more

I've been a customer of Vyve since June of 2024. Customer service and response to service requests are nearly non-existent. The initial installation was amateurish. I was left with several loose and looping cables hanging from decks and across doors, no sealing foam into the cable run drilled into my home, unsecured cable into my home, a pile of cable on my cabinets, unburied cable and damaged driveway pavers from running the cable under the driveway. It took more than a dozen calls, texts, emails to correct the cable issues on and in my home. The 250 foot cable-run burial and damaged driveway have not been repaired, after dozens of phone calls, emails, texts, visits to a Vyve store and technician visits to my home, no corrections to my driveway and cable run. I was told it would be corrected within days of technician visits. The technicians told me they would work to repair and keep me informed on the status. Neither were truthful. Its been 5 months and no repairs. Their customer service and response have been disingenuous. read more

I turned my equipment in on 12/2/2022 due to such bad service with Netfilix and Amazon buffering way too much!. My billing cycle runs from 11/22/2022 - 12/2/2022. They are trying to charge me for a FULL MONTH OF SERVICE even though I turned in my equipment on 12/2/2022. They are claiming they can do this because of "block billing". That's BS. How can you charge for services NOT rendered? I switched to Dish and AT&T and haven't had a single problem with buffering! Garbage! Don't waste your money. Internet is continuously down. Pay for 24 mbps get 2.99-3.65mbps. At best. Excuses, problems, and what's worse, they hold a monopoly in my area. The only other provider is ATT but it's business only. Find any other means! But, please, please, please!! RUN don't walk AWAY from this company and its scam services. They can't keep you connected(I mean CONTINUOUSLY DOWN! Disconnected 36 TIMES IN 1 HR, according to the tech on the phone)but your bill stays the same. I feel I should get a rebate every time my internet is down. After all, wouldn't they charge me if I let my service disconnect? Either way, Levi worked hard and got it done. I hope they get the rest of the departments figures out soon. Going on 3 weeks since we called to set up service and we still don't have it. They said they sent someone to our new home and we could get service right away. Then, the tech says no we can't and they have to get a contractor to run new wiring. 2 weeks later and they will run the wire but cannot tell us when we will actually have service. We have anywhere between 5 to 10 outages a day. We can't finish a single movie without having to reset our modem via texting the company to request a reset. I had to give a star but didn't want to. They just don't have a high octane company in the Seneca Clemson area. I've had them for 2 years and the techs don't seem to run great products with mass loads through them. Poor service; fuzzy or just not consistent signal. Never fast; 6 Mbps to 24 Mbps is terrible. They just don't have it together. If you can avoid them I would say avoid, but local businesses are the best but these guys need some big corporate work. read more

Customer service people are nice when you call, but the service provided itself is horrible. Internet keeps going out and is super slow when it does work. Price keeps increasing on you every month yet the quality of service stays the same. Started off with a promotion they had and paid around $46 dollars. After promotion ended, I paid around $52 something. Now it's around $66. Moving soon so I will just have to stick with it a little longer. Do not get Northland if you live in Clemson. read more

I just terminated my account with Northland after years os service, they increased my monthly bill and one agent lead me to think it was the best they could offer me so I had to cancel my plan with them only to be told by a different agent they could bring my bill back down however I had already just purchased unlimited data for my phone which will save me more money in the long run. This is THE MOST terrible, unreliable, spotty (when working) internet service I HAVE EVER had. Had this service since November, hasn't really worked since. Now there's an outage in my area and the techs on site are not communicating with the office to give an update on repairs (since last night-so I'm not being unreasonable) I have had probably 5 service calls, 3 or 4 modems and before the outage I was sending a reset command DAILY just to get by. I will be switching as soon as I can to ATT. I havent gotten what I pay for a single day consistently since November. The techs will tell you you have no service, the office will tell you they dont "see a problem" yet they also say "wait, we dont even see that your equipment is functioning at all (when it is lol) so no bill adjustments... what a joke. If I could give them LESS THAN ONE STAR I would. I have built computers and worked with systems (networks) for over 20 years. Our current home, we moved into just over 2 years ago, had Northland Cable already setup. After months and months of the old router they had there, and us telling them it constantly drops connections and the internet, they finally brought out a "newer" router and installed it. It turns out, as I thought, the problem is not the router, but their service. The downstream/incoming signal (and the internet period) drops out at least once if not 2-3 times a day. My wife constantly has to sit and wait for the service to return for Netflix and or getting online. This past weekend the internet dropped out 5 times between Friday and Sunday. Saturday it was out for 2 1/2 hours in the middle of the day, then it dropped out in the middle of me streaming an NFL game I wanted to see through an NFL Network stream. This also killed my daughter's Netflix stream, and a game download I had going on Steam. Thanks a lot Northland! Since the day we moved in we have not had a single week (it seems) without the internet dropping out completely. It now drops at least once, if not multiple times a day. This often happens in the evening when we most want/need it. Add on top of that the cost vs speed you get. The max at our residence is 12Mb/s. I have been testing the speed for nearly 2 years and it quite often doesn't surpass 6-8Mbs at best. There are very rare occasions that I get lucky and we get somewhere near the bandwidth that is being overpaid for. Awful...absolutely awful. After this weekend of it dropping non-stop I'm going to give this company as much bad press/reviews as possible...off to the next site. read more

Recently moved to another home, had to wait a week until the internet and phone gets reconnected. A week later, someone was supposed to arrive and connect it between 1-5. Nobody showed up, no notes on either door, no phone called. Called the company, was told someone arrived three times, called the home number (which was disconnected and had to be reconnected by this same person). Again, no note on the door, and we were put on another waiting list for a week. Absolutely ridiculous. Choose another provider if you can. read more

If you can avoid using Northland cable, I would highly recommend it. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't I have a 100 megabits pay $50 a month for that. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't the last 2 weeks. There's been several issues with it. Not even picking up good or constantly loading. I called up to try to talk to him. And no one really wanted to listen said they didn't have an issue. There's always an excuse for everything going to have to start looking for a new company.
