From the very first interaction (via phone with Elisha) I knew that my grandmother's awning was going to turn out spectacular. Elisha arranged for Adam to give us an estimate, and he was awesome! He evaluated the site, asked excellent questions of how it was to be used... he covered every detail with perfection! We placed the order on the spot. We were so pleased with our experience that we contacted the showroom again to purchase some patio furniture. Elisha helped us select the BEST furniture. Wow, we are amazed at the quality. They even arranged for the furniture to arrive with the awning (which was even ahead of schedule, which was a delight!). The day of installation was flawless. Aidan and Michael installed the retractable awning, Aidan explained all of the awning's features thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. We were excited to try it out!!! Absolutely horrible. Alan never gave us a quote or follow up call. Acted like we're too poor for a sun room on our beautiful house that is only 10 years old. Patio cover project was a success! Installation was done, despite VERY cold and windy conditions. Their attention to detail was excellent.

Found them though their T.V. add and so glad we did. John did a great job in planning the mounting location and describing all the available options. The installation crew was prompt, courteous and did a wonderful job. Our beautiful new awning makes our south facing deck useable on sunny days while keeping the great room in our house way cooler. We love our new awning, but the customer service is what won us over!! We originally wanted a roof over our patio. We had difficulty with our county and permits. W. A. Zimmer was kept apprised of the situation and even went to bat for us. Eventually we had to cancel installation and they refunded our money immediately. When asked if we would like an awning instead, they understood my frustration and that I was not ready to make a decision. When we were ready to make a decision about the awning they were extremely helpful. When the awning arrived, they had difficulty installing, through no fault of their own. But they stuck with it and got it installed. They had told us that the wait might be 6-8 weeks, but it was there in a couple of weeks. We would HIGHLY recommend W. A. Zimmer!! read more

We ordered a Pergola in April, it was the end of August before we got it finished. There were so many mistakes made first by the salesman writing the order incorrectly, then when the materials finally arrived they were damaged and had to be reordered. Which meant more delays. 2 years ago, W.A. Zimmer removed my old shower, it had mold and mildew behind the tile. They installed a beautiful shower unit with a chair and grab bar for my elderly mother who has moved in with me. Adam, who gave me the estimate and showed me the large selection of finishes to chose from was friendly and knowledgeable. The men who installed it, did so quickly and expertly. They did a great job with clean up and it was actually less then what the estimate was! It is so beautiful, I am looking forward to having them remodel my small tub into a better bathing experience for Mom and I soon. I highly recommend them. read more

In September, 2016, we decided to replace the old hard-to-open windows on our porch/three-season room. We called W A Zimmer and were soon talking to Bill Zimmer.
