I tried speaking to David the owner and he ignored my text asking him to contact me and my calls. If your planning to buy from this company please DON"T your home could go up in flames and both father and son don't give a damn about your safety. I'm looking into taking action against Liam to recover my funds and ensure he isn't allowed to work in this field. Repairs on roof completed 2 years ago, which included fixing loose slates. I had to call them back…read morea short while later as a few slated had slipped. Fast forward to 8 weeks ago and we had a leak in the bathroom ceiling. I spoke to Lee, and he asked me to call back on the Monday as he'd have a better idea of availability. I left a voicemail on the Monday, as no answer to call, and recieved no call back. 4 weeks further on, when we had monsoon like weather, and water marks start to appear on the ceiling of our top hall. We tried phoning, texting and e mailing and recieved no response. The work was guaranteed for 10 years. Our son in law went into our attic, and daylight could be seen in 4 separate places. We'd bo choice but to get another roofer in ( local and recommended. Should have done this in 1st place). He took several photos of the roof which he said was shocking. The tiles they had replaced ( obvious as different style to rest of roof) hadn't even been nailed in!!!! The flat roof they'd replaced had been walked on whilst hot , he said, as could see footprints in it, shortening its life span, and the rubbish from the old flat roof, had been thrown onto our adjoining neighbours roof!!! We ended up taking legal advice and sent a letter via e mail, and recorded delivery, advising them that action would be taken if they didn't respond and make good on their guarantee. Checkatrader have informed us today that they are no longer trading under Probuild but under Roof and Buildings and therefore our guarantee is null and void. Disgusting, immoral trading, and God only knows how many others have been conned and cheated out of money.
