There is parking but it is charged for, in the Arndale Centre car park which is convenient. They are a little more upmarket than H Samuels and the prices do reflect this, however as is often the case with jewellery - you get what you pay for. The shop is a small one with limited choice however they do have a catalogue to take away and browse through at home. The staff have always seemed a little snooty whenever i have been in there - but maybe that says more about me than them!

Avoid them for jewellery repairs as it is costly here, as is some of the jewellery - i always think they overprice some of the items. Other jewellers nearby seem to give better value for money. I am not really a fan.

I took it back to the shop after only a couple of weeks as it repeatedly fell off my wrist and was already looking cheap and nasty. I was immediately informed that it was my fault, and that I myself had made the strap appear cheap looking, would not refund my money. Adding that they would sell me another strap for £12. Although the prices are on the high side, you are still getting your moneys worth in terms of design and quality craftsmanship. There is loads to look at and undoubtedly something will catch your eye - i have never really seen anything similar sold elsewhere. It is a great place to have a browse even if you are not planning on buying anything. This was the only place in town that i could find who can replace parts of my fellas storm watch and service it. The cost of a replacement hinge and polish of his watch was about £20 and well worth every penny as it originally cost over £200. The staff were polite and knowledgable.

I bought some nice tulips and was satisfied with my purchase until I crossed the road and my back brace broke and then fell down the drain. I was stranded in the middle of the road with a oncoming car heading straight for me. I reached for the remaining tulip laughing at me as I bent down I fell down the drain and was covered in bodily fluids. I was scared and disturbed seen as there was red balloons all around me, I thought to myself what was that movie that my 6 year old grandson was watching with the clown? Ah IT, I thought as I stood in the damp small space I heard laughing. All of a sudden a clown popped out of no where and had a trillion teeth, Instead of being scared I laughed at him and we became very good friends. I learnt that his name was Pennywise and he even replaced my tulips with blood filled roses. I 10/10 recommend coming here they sold me some beautiful flowers even though they got covered in sewage :(

Maybe some music would help but it feels unfriendly now. Like a lot of Charity shops they are now asking prices way beyond the original cost of the items. Me going on about DVD prices again. I am happy to pay £2 for a dvd that i fancy watching. I invariably give it back to the charity shop afterwards. The policy in this shop is £2 a dvd. Fantastic! But if the DVD happens to have one of those extras discs with it, which nobody wants nor watches, then they charge £4 for the 2 discs..ha ha. This is more than the cost new. In the real world most places having realised that the DVD market is fast disappearing are happy to get £1each. Cash Convertors will give 25p each for DVDS and they sell them for £1. They have 1000's of them. The extras disc should not be considered a separate DVD, it is used mainly as a beer mat when you are watching the actual film. Again it is just a lack of knowledge on the part of the Manager but they don't like to be questioned so again no flexibility in their dealings. You either pay the asking price or you don't have it. It's not the way to do business in my opinion.

It's almost too pricey for the common Brightonian, but prices do start quite low, and can be even cheaper if you buy off the rack, and there are some very nice items on there as well! There's even a women's section: everything you might need from a bespoke tailors, really. The main problem here is price: these aren't prices for mortals, I feel. Still, when you enter the shop, you are treated well, even you don't hand over an American Express Gold card upon entry. However, without the necessary cash, much of what Gresham Blake offers will forever be closed to you. I wish I had the cash to get a tailor made suit here, I'd go for something really original and different (definitely some shades of pink), but that will remain a pipe-dream for some time, I feel. If you have the cash, though, you could do much worse!

The shop is located within the Enterprise Centre in Eastbourne town centre, on the first floor - there are some steepish stairs you'll need to ascend to get to it. It is a tiny 'shop', if you can even call it that because it's literally just a counter going across the front almost as soon as you walk in, with all of the tools and machines of the trade behind it. They do made to order jewellery and repairs etc and if you need or want something that the fella can't do (like specialist engraving) then he always knows someone who can do it and will make the necessary arrangements. All at fair prices too.
