The only disadvantage about this shop is they seem to run on a skeleton staff and you can be waiting ages to get served if someone is doing their lottery but the staff are nice so not all bad.

The display of shoes is really good rather then all on one shelf they are laid out at the back of the store in a square with plenty of seating. There bags are atractivly displayed on glass shelving so you can see what the bags look like all over. They always seem to have a sale on which is good as I feel there prices are really rather high. I know its good fashion but is still a little pricey in my opinion (but then I do normally shop in Primark).

As an American used to Dollar Tree and Dollar stores, to see this one called Poundland somehow just tickled my funny bone repeatedly. They had a wide selection of wacky things typical to that sort of store with the occasional (also typical) gem amidst the tripe. Their staff however....ugh....very rude, always surly, and generally unpleasant. But, poor as I was while I was over there, I appreciated the convenience and low price point of their merchandise and I braved the rudeness for my goods. Just don't get the bargain nose tissues, NOT worth it. Horrible things, fell apart as soon as you pulled them from the box! ewwwww

The shop itself is very cramped making it very difficult to move freely around the store, but the bargains including top brand names for a pound makes it worth the claustrophobic atmosphere. Dove shower gel, Nivea face cream, Nivea for Men and Bratz branded clothing and body spray are all items that I purchased as stocking fillers this year for Christmas.

Despite this, it is tidy and the staff do a good job in keeping it looking ok. They sell a variety of goods from healthcare to food, and toys to books. I've picked up many bargains in there, and bought things I would have paid double for elsewhere. You obviously have to be choosey about what you buy, but can find great things in there if you look. As with the store, the three checkouts are often very busy, but the staff are friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a look if you're shopping in the town!

The reason is that it's not been decorated for quite a while which gives it that tradional style/look. Inside they have a fairly wide selection of toys all at reasonable prices but you have to look for what you want as it's not labelled or signed like in the larger toy stores such as Toys R Us. It does seem quite compact too so not adviseable for a large pushchair or pram to take in to have a look around. There are a couple of staff around to help you though if you need it and they always try their best to help you so if something's not in stock they will try and get it in for you as soon as possible. It's situated right in the heart of beccles and is really easy to get too. Parkings never a problem here whenever I've been. I love going in this shop as they have so many little bits for party bags etc. as well as toys for boys, girls, preschool age and a good selection of larger outdoor toys too which are upstairs.

If there's something you're unable to find or if it's not in stock then the staff are more than happy to help you by ordering it in if it's available at another of their stores. This shop has the appearance that seems slightly dated but it's still very pleasant to look around in. This shop also stocks a good supply of tiny tinned paints for models that can also be purchased here. If it's little bits and pieces you are looking for party bags or bits children want to buy with their pocket money then this is the shop to go to as they have a wide variety suitable for both boys and girls.

This is a well planned out shop that offers all the latest fashions and accessories. They also have great sales on in January too. This is about the only time that I do visit this shop nowadays though due to their prices slightly increasing. I have always managed to get parking outside of the shop though when I have visited here without any problems.

There seems to be more ladies and childrens clothes though rather than mens. Upstairs within the shop is mainly the childrens clothes. They have young childrens on one side and older to teenagers on the other. Prices throughout are really good and the same goes for the quality. They do have sales on in the New Year too and I often look in here for some bargains for my grandchildren as they grow so fast. Members of staff are constantly walking around the shop floors sorting out clothes or serving customers on the tills but if you ever need help they are more than happy to help you.
