Cleaning of new apartment - NO SHOW with my apartment keys! Called 7 times, wrote 5 times. Was concerned and sent police to check on her and her family. Finally my keys were returned by employee. No explanation whatsoever. She comes to your home, meets with you and you feel assured she will be the one. Utter disappointment and worry. read more

Unprofessional. Never seen a company "ghost" a recurring client before but that's exactly what happened. We started routine bi-weekly service with Brittany in January. After some tutelage, I thought she did a decent job. But one day she just didn't show up and wouldn't respond to calls or texts. I wasn't even sure if she was OK or not. Come to see she recently posted on Nextdoor. Still don't know what happened. read more

Thanks to Brittany I sold my Father's house yesterday! She cleaned everything from the basement to the upstairs. She cleaned the refrigerator, cupboards, closets, kitchen fans, the oven, dishwasher, windows, floors, carpets, the bathroom and shelves. She even brought in a scrap piece of drywall she saw I needed for some repair work. How she cleaned the walls in the kitchen I'll never know. As of January 2024 WLK currently has no slots available for re-occurring cleaning clients. We do however , still have slots for our after hours specialty cleanings available. ( move-in move-out / B&B cleanings / deep cleans) We are also still available for scheduling all of our other services that we offer ( handyman/ painting/ general contracting ) Scheduling is already 1-2 months out for new service jobs . Our rates are as follows: but not limited to- Any and all services start at $100 first the first 2 hours or less. My negative experience is a precursor to any service that could have been requested- seeing as stephanie never cleaned my home, and by the looks of it, never will. It was 11pm on a Wednesday, and as I was driving home from work, I was being heavily tailgated by a white chevy. I had already been going over the speed limit in my haste to make it home. The chevy continued riding my car, HEAVILY, even as I gradually sped up. At the next stop light, the driver promptly flipped me the bird and continued to do so until I turned into my neighborhood. This business, and the employee of this so-called business, seem reckless, impatient, and rude. I know few people that are in need of cleaners and cleaning services, but if the time comes to ever recommend a cleaner to a close friend or family member, you can bet your having-faith-terrible-driving-bottoms that I will never recommend you.

This was the FIRST experience with a local mover and the first time not one piece of my furniture was damaged. The movers were so so careful with every piece of furniture. I expect to move again next year and have already called them to let them know they'll be moving me. I cannot recommend them enough. Also, the day before my move, 2 years ago, I got covid. I called Mr. Kurti and as it turned out he had it also. Anyway, he was wonderful about it and we had to postpone my move a week. But the best part was how he and his wife cared for me! yes I mean cared for me. I have no family in State College and friends lived in Bellefonte, plus with planning to move at that time I had absolutely NO food in the house. His wife unexpectedly brought me bags of food and food that I could eat while sick. She certainly knew what a sick person needed. I was amazed that she would do that and was so blessed by her kindness. They were both so gracious towards me. And THAT is what Kurtious movers is all about, caring and kindness. Loading the truck: 9/10. Packing: 1/10, terrible. (Company sent completely untrained packers, they'd never packed before. They were trying, but didn't even know to put paper fill on the bottom or top of boxes, they were putting glasses sideways with heavier dishes on top, the works. I ended up largely packing myself.) Unloading: 7/10. (Several boxes were marked "top only," but they put in the boxes any which way so the labels weren't visible, and started stacking some boxes on "top only" ones. However, once I mentioned it, they did follow my instructions from then on. I think they were just inexperienced.) Ease of scheduling/availability: 10/10. (They were available same day.) I will say, this was an urgent job, so I knew to have lower expectations. But it's going too far for the company to send out packers with zero training for the job.
