Had the exact same experience that another reviewer had. Justin met with us in March and did an estimate for us that we agreed to, and then crickets. Had to wait until load limits went off the road, so fine. but May, June, July and August came with minimal contact but assurances that the job would be scheduled when they got time, we were always next in line. Our last few text and emails have been completely ignored. Worst communication and experience that i have ever had with a contractor. Unbelievably disappointed. Do NOT use. read more

STAY AWAY from Waconia Landscaping. Justin is a terrible planner and communicator. If he falls behind he will either not call you back or just tell you soon. We had work done in our back yard to complete some paving under a pavilion. We gave him 5 weeks notice to complete the pavers after the structure was finished and when we did get ahold of him he would tell both my wife and me, soon, you will be able to use it before winter. When we called we would hear nothing back. we found out if we called from a number he didn't know, he would respond back. He finally came out in early October to finish and then complained to us that his crew had to work in cold. fast forward to 2 years and the pavers started to come apart. Talked to him last fall and he said he would come in the spring to fix. Tried to contact him several time spring early summer, nothing. Finally saw him today and all he had was excuses and he had to point out that he wasn't charging us but what he forgets is that he is fixing his poor work. He is very unorganized and a poor communicator. Has been fired or had multiple complaints in our neighborhood. If you do decide to hire him get everything writing and put in completion dates for him to adhere too. read more

THIS GUY!!! Justin has an eternal place in my heart. My friends and I had planned a trip to Arkansas so their kid could dig for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds National Park for spring break using my camper. We had gambled on the chances of the snow being gone and the camper being free to remove from the lot and boy had we gambled wrong. We spent a week coming each day to shovel it out and then it snowed more. We were defeated. So in desperation, I looked to yelp to find a local guy (as I am not from the area). I found Justin. I told him the situation and he wasn't even phased. Said he'd swing by the next day with the bobcat and take care of it. He called me the next day to give me a time frame of when he would arrive. By the time I got there it was done. I had requested a "path that made sense to pull a 30ft camper out through". I got so much more. Justin literally saved our spring break and I will be eternally grateful. He was kind and efficient and did an AMAZING job.. above and beyond what was expected. I am already so impressed with Justin! He responded with a quote the same day I requested one with various pricing options. When the option I wanted wasn't listed, he created a new one on the spot. He is very flexible and my mother, who I hired him for, is actually a former neighbor and already knows him. She said she is nothing but impressed by the type of person he is. I first spoke with Justin the end of March 2020. After coming to my home he stated he would provide and estimate in a week. Each time I've contacted him by phone he has told me he would provide the estimate next week. I called again this week and his voice mail is full. I've been waiting since March.
