Overall, we had a beautiful wedding and mostly everyone was impressed! Pros: Value to price for the inclusive package is nearly unbeatable, even if you diy. Scenery is beautiful and there is plenty of space for the reception. Freedom to choose catering and other options without the ridiculous guidelines of other venues. Very relaxed and calm atmosphere, a true rustic and bare bones type of place. Neutral: The location is a bit out there. This affected cell service and catering options for us, so keep that in mind. This venue really feels about 90% complete. Our wedding was at the end of 2019 and we thought the place would have been a bit more polished by then. It really skirts being rustic for rustic's sake and instead kinda felt more like they just skimped out in a few places. Cons: The bathrooms are largely unfinished and were pretty dirty to go along with poor lighting. There were no hooks in the grooms suite so the suits had to be draped over chairs. The path leading out to the ceremony area has larger sized loose gravel and uneven loose concrete stepping stones. This was a problem with those in heels and with older guests which really needs to be addressed. The following review is of our experience with the prior owners. We want to share it in matters of transparency, but in fairness to the new owners, this is not affecting the star rating either way. We received an introductory price as we were among the first to book here. The price has now changed, but was amazing for all that we got. From start to finish 11 months later, we only dealt with 1 person. They wore every hat including photographer, organizer, planner, etc. Because of this, things were a bit unorganized from time to time. All the way up to a few days before our date they were still trying to source a few things that was part of our package. Fortunately, they did come through and we had all that was promised. For the day of our wedding, everything went mostly smoothly. The owner and her friend decided to wear random tshirts, yoga pants, and pony tails. We found this pretty tacky, and unfortunately they are now forever immortalized in our various wedding photos and videos looking this way. They also brought a young boy about 10-11. He mostly ran around and ate desserts and talked to guests, but we wish they had asked if it was okay. We had a smaller wedding without many kids, so this is likely why it stuck out so much. While the planning was mostly alright and she did a decent job wrangling groups, we did have to go hunting for her a few times throughout the day. We were grateful that she worked as hard as she did, but we also felt like it would have been a HUGE improvement if she had simply hired some help or sought professional advice before trying her hand at it. We felt a lot of their growing pains, and it really didn't seem fair at times. I'm assuming that's probably part of why there are new owners however. If we had to do it all over again, we would. And we would certainly take a gamble with the new owners as well. We have talked to the new owners a few times and they have been very kind and helpful in tying up a few loose ends. Please, check this place out!

I've stayed at this motel many times. I'll address the negatives first. Management needs to replace…read moretheir mattresses, and new carpet wouldn't hurt, either. Bring your own towels. It would also be nice if there was a TV channel list in the room. As to the positive aspects, I will say that the rooms seem clean enough and I've never seen a bug or a mouse in any room I stayed in, although I found the sight of a mousetrap under the dresser somewhat disturbing. The heat and A/C work fine. Each room has a micro fridge. The motel is located directly behind a decent Mexican restaurant, which is right across the street from a McDonald's and a Walmart. I've never dealt with the manager, so I can't comment on his/her attitude. My husband always checked us in. However, if you read Country Club Motel's ad on their website, you'll find that it's almost chocker block full of lies. It's not a bad value at $49 a night, just don't expect anything more than the basics.

It has gone a MAJOR OVERHAUL renovation to restore the vaudeville-era stage, and re-incorporation of LIVE Fare and weekly 2nd Run/Vintage films. The seats are comfortable, and spacious. Aisles are wide and accessible. The decor is similar to the old style, while modern and attractive. (I Do miss the old Lobby carpet that once featured film reels and strips, and theatrical masks, ...Ah me.) The side, business buildings which was a Barber Shop, and shoe repair, were re-incorporated into sales salons and concession stands. The addition of the next property over, made great use for dressing rooms, prop shops...Etc.

The Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center opened in the fall of 2009, with a 1089-seat, high tech theatre called the Ataloa Theatre. It is U sed by ECU Theatre and Music Departments' events, Ada High School, and Community events, complete with season tickets. It has a large hydraulic orchestra pit, a complete fly system, and a rear projector and projection screen. A large lobby with a ticket booth, coat check room and concession room. Access to the balcony area by elevator in the center of the lobby (or staircases to either side of the auditiorium.)

Received my acceptance email while I was out of state and couldn't wait to finish signing up and using the practic range. This is a GREAT course. Ready for any skill level. The course is in outstanding shape as are the practice facilities. I encourage anyone wanting a top flight private course, this is it. You'd expect to pay much more for this guality and I've played some of the best around. They have a beautiful club house, chef rated resturant and bar. Pool, tennis and pro shop...all top shelf. I parked the bus in the casino parking lot nearby. There are lots of things to do inside, and there was a lot of space to do it. Seriously, it could handle a huge crowd with multiple parties happening. There is a lot of space to walk and move. You pay for everything at a central location. The glow in the dark mini golf is 9 holes and has very thoughtfully painted displays. It doesn't look like an elementary student's diorama. There is also a place for someone to have a party gathering inside the glow room. Very cool. There are lots of bowling lanes and pool tables. There is a lazer tag area. I didn't play, but my students had a really fun time. I know there was a group of 15 that played together. The arcade was good, and I appreciated the amount of walking space among the games. It had several driving games and lots of ticket-earning games. One of the air hockey tables was out of commission. All the games required a swipe card, and tickets are saved to the card for redemption later. Food is available. Standard concession stand fare. Employees were helpful and easy to find.

So, I drive around looking for scrapbook stores. I learned of this one from my local store when they sponsored a Shop Hop. The idea is to visit five stores in the state in one month. So off I went. This was the second store on my list. Ada is not really on the way to anything; however, I definitely recommend a visit. Scraptopia is a small shop, but it is stocked with a variety of goodies and the owner is very helpful. She not only showed me what products to use, but also how they work. She was very patient and didn't try to sell only her own products. I not only came away with some new tools, but all the knowhow to complete a new project! I highly recommend the store. It's worth the drive and I will be back!
